as i expected bitcoin already surpass the price of gold but still gold is gold and bitcoin is just a crypto currency at all. and everyone wants a lot of gold because gold is very important minerals that found in earth and since the ancient times they're using gold as a currency thats why gold will be gold no matter what and gold always raising it price every year not like bitcoin which is not stable as the price of gold.

There is no doubt that gold is without a doubt very relevant coin, however the news of bitcoin surpassing gold in price is important too because it breaks a barrier and everyone suddenly realize, hey this is not impossible bitcoin can keep growing.

Just like other saying, but for me, nothing will believe that bitcoin can defeat gold. Gold is a gold, nothing can defeat gold. Bitcoin value can defeat gold, but the gold value will still remain on its value, and cannot be changed. Gold value is stable, bitcoin cannot defeat gold because we cannot predict what will be the cost in the future and what will be the value of it ? We cannot say but it can be, we will just wait for what will happen on bitcoin value and gold value.

It is going to get replaced by some other form of crypto-currency. But if BTC defeats gold after 100 years, it is going to be a huge achievement, as gold has been used as a form of wealth for more than 5,000 years now.

But even if we talk about market capitalization bitcoin will still climb up to overcome gold overall market capitalization.

Are you talking about Bitcoin mining? Bitcoin mining will end in the year 2140. But that is not related to the usage of Bitcoins. We can't predict the future. There is a strong chance that Bitcoins will become obsolete in the near future, as a result of some of its drawbacks (such as the 51% rule and block size restriction).

Bitcoin was meet only the price of gold, and it doesn't that bitcoin overcome it, it means Gold is not existing or gold may gonna die or its end of gold. No! its not like that because in terms of stability Gold was still stable, and we cannot say where does the stability of bitcoin  goes? though I know bitcoin will go through higher.

to me i think there is no competition between bitcoin and Gold. because bitcoin is a currency while Gold is not a currency. bitcoin can be use for both purposes as for investment as well as for online and off line payment purpose also.

What do you mean in words "bitcoin defeated gold"? Do you have some experience in economics? Remind history, gold was the main way of payment everywhere on the earth, this continues today. There are gold packs in banks behind "paper" money to make it pricey. Well, imagine no electricity for some minute, if you say bitcoin defeated gold, than how would you describe that some minute of no electricity? That is true, I also agree that Bitcoin is far more dangerous as an investment than gold.  You an buy Bitcoin today and there is a possibility that it will crash tomorrow if the developer won't deliver the fixed or patch to the current issue.  Unlike gold that it is what it is, Bitcoin is more complicated form of asset that rely on its developers works, and need to be always updated and well secured against several exploits from its code.

You should correct the word of Replace, Bitcoin not replace the gold. but we could compared the bitcoin to gold. Because now people use the gold for make money, and when bitcoin introduce the crypto currency in this world, than people attract to bitcoin and start to buy it, because everyone could buy or earn the bitcoin instead of gold, and suddenly bitcoin defeated the gold price, that's why it is a good and big chance to make money from bitcoin instead of gold.

Bitcoin isn't listed as an illegal investment in my country, so I don't have what to fear. The only fear I can have is the one that they might turn it into an illegal one sooner or later. But until then, I can use it without restrictions. Gold will always be the best investment honestly, because it can be used as a currency in any possible scenario. Bitcoin still has some cons. Just the fact that it is now valued more than gold is doesn't necessarily make it better. For traders, it is. But not for the preppers, for example.
