You can now use DBIX on MyEtherWallet. Just follow this tutorial here.

Don't forget that you can now use MyEtherWallet instead of having a full node on your computer. Share it to other DBIX users !

Been following your posts on DBIX as I am quite a heavy investor in the coin, entered at around $9 then sold at $46 for quite a gain.. Re-entered at around $27.7 right before the bloodbath..

I wanted to get your thoughts on the coin, I noticed there is absolutely no talk about its uses or functionality.. Almost every single post about dbix is by some miner who lost their wallet, the recent news of the investor (peanuts really) had 0 effect on the price.. And there seems to be a downward pressure by holders to sell without any buyers (30k sold against only 7k bough today)

Shall I bite the bullet take my losses and find a better investment?

Would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks!

I'm probably the most objective investor in this whole thread. Everyone else seems very emotional towards this coin.

Even though I was hyped about this coin at first, I sold all I had at $39 and I'm happy to hear you made some gains as well. Re-entering the DBIX game at $27 was a misstep in my opinion, and you might have lost what you invested at that time.
DBIX has been falling steadily for almost a week and now with the current dip, it's really taking a beating.

There's a good chance DBIX will go under 10 bucks within 24 hours, so I'd sell at least a portion of your coins if I were you. It's also possible that DBIX will recover a bit after the current dip, but it won't go back to $50 for a while, probably never.

This is just desperate people asking how to mine this coin to get shit money, This is dead project with nothing, only desperate miners to get a few $

Good post.
I don't understand how to mine so it irritates me that people only mine this coin and then make me buy their FREE coins..

Even though I believed in Dubaicoin, I decided to sell all my DBIX at $39 and I think it was a good call.

The price is going down all the time, the reply from devs didn't really answer any questions at all, there's only one exchange (which tells me not even exchanges want this coin), Livecoin owns 50% of all DBIX in circulation, localized coins usually fail because they don't offer anything that Bitcoin doesn't..
It's just too risky, I had to sell.

What makes you think the devs didn't answer anything at all?  They answered a lot of things and this is a project in its early stages with no DAPPS yet, they haven't even released their smart builder or thuraya yet, and they haven't even began working on the Dubai digital economy projects or Islamic banking.  Do you think Ethereum got to 200+ at this stage of its development?  Everyone wants to get rich quick like buying 25000 dbix and then its worth double the next day, but having the foresight to know what projects will have a legitimate use case in the world long term is what's important.  I strongly believe that the gulf states will at the very least begin to use ArabianChain for many different projects due to the arablic language smart contracts as well as arabs supporting other arabs, it may not be the one that ultimately wins in that region but it has a great chance since it is the first one through the door.

The price 30 days ago was $5, it's now $15.60 after hitting highs of $46 or so.  Yes it went down in the short term but that's down to greedy speculative traders and also miners taking profits.  In 5 months time it may well be much higher and begin to be integrated into arab society both private sector and government alike.

My biggest issue with DBIX is this: is it any better than BTC and ETH? Can't Arabs just use those instead?

If it's just a coin for a region like Russia, Switzerland, Monaco.. it doesn't offer anything valuable.

Many arabs don't even speak english so an arabic platform for them would have a value.  Does this project have to beat ETH or BTC to have value? I think not.  The devs want to allow arabs to have the opportunity to get into crypto through their platform since it is kinda late to be investing in bitcoin and eth

Or you might just want to buy bigger amounts cheap from him Wink

DBIX is from my side a mid-term investment, i mined some and bought some - now they will remain on stock and i even don't care about the exchange rate for the next few weeks - for the short profit i take other coins (like i did with DAXX and 400%+ within 24h).

ETH / ZEC lost ~ 50% in the past days, would you panic there now and just sell at loss?

I had some projects in UAE region and i know that they are very interested to be on the newest technology, yes there are more established coins available but it's also about trust and to be proud of inovation, so a crypto currency powered / raised in this region might have a big advantage above all others.

This piece of garment is just only for miners that all they do is desperate to sell, they just want easy money. Nobody care about this project! Mine and sell!!

All post are about miners crying their pool is not working or wallet having problems and can not sell!! Sell , sell this is what is about....All miners selling.. they don't hold! This is a terrible disaster of a project

87   DubaiCoin DubaiCoin   $17,866,267   $17.85   1,001,063 DBIX   $364,258   -32.66%

It's true that many arabs don't speak english and they probably want something that feels domestic.
Russians have SIBcoin for this reason, but I kinda don't like that coin either.. It's not a bad coin, but its only point is being for Russians.
For the future of cryptocurrency, I don't think it's good that every country makes their own coin.
The only good side is that you can make a lot of money by investing early.. like with DBIX, I still remember when it was $2 a couple of months ago. Cool

Dubai is the kind of city that should adopt cryptocurrency. Maybe the city will embrace DBIX because it's arabic, maybe BTC because it's old, trusted and not so volatile anymore.
Or both? Who knows. It would be cool to go to Dubai and pay for everything in crypto.
But the thing about using crypto in real life is that if the money is still rocketing or probable to rocket in the future, people want to hold it instead of using it.. This has been BTC's problem for ages.
You don't want to buy a pizza for 0.5 DBIX when a year later your pizza was worth a Lamborghini.

In any case, it's not late to invest in BTC or ETH.. BTC will dip hard by the end of this month, and ETH is planning to rocket at the same time. Cool

Yeah this has annoyed me for weeks now.

The difference between a Russian coin and a coin for the Arabic world, is that the Arabic world is huge and has around 1 billion people, many of which are extremely rich and the oil industry is dying so they are branching out into new investment fields, one of which is hi-tech.  There's a reason Dubai wants to adopt cryptocurrency and become world leaders in it, Saudi Arabia is on board too.  The Russian world is generally poor with a struggling economy and nowhere near the amount of people as Arabs.  They also are already well integrated into crypto and have been from the start, they are most certainly not late to the party like the Arab world is.  These are very clear differences that for me makes the Arabic coin have its own value which is far greater than any coin designed for Russians.

can you stop freaking out and patiently wait for use-case updates on this product?   Until it drops back down to $2 nobody should be freaking out the way you have been lol.  I don't see where your panic is coming from unless you're a guy who bought in at $46 for a bunch of coins.  Either that or you're rather new to crypto.

Well you're sure acting like a spoiled child that is brand new to the industry.  Just because I didn't have an account on bitcointalk doesn't mean I'm new lol.  Never really felt like actually participating in the forum until recently.  Calm yourself down though please. every coin in the market is down big, look at Decred it also went from $46 to $20 are u gonna go over to the decred ANN and spam THIS COIN IS SHIT SHIT PROJECT SHIT DEVS BLAH BLAH lol

EDIT: it's also normal for a coin to have miners asking questions and wallet issues when it first starts to blow up.  Get over it.  The devs communicate with the community if the community asks and there is a lot of potential here, regardless of the current coin price.
