why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

most of the people store bitcoin as investment, saving bitcoin for a long time is one of the best option, because of a higher probability of maximizing your returns in the future. Definitely, main reason is that if people store their bitcoins for a long time, because in this way, without any hard working they could earn from bitcoin in future, because of its price will always be increased and we will make profit easily. But it doesn't mean that we store our bitcoins for 10 or 20 years. I think maximum period of store is 5 years better. |

Definitely, main reason is that if people store their bitcoins for a long time, because in this way, without any hard working they could earn from bitcoin in future, because of its price will always be increased and we will make profit easily. But it doesn't mean that we store our bitcoins for 10 or 20 years. I think maximum period of store is 5 years better. Having this kind of mentality is very common among bitcoin users specially to those who do strongly believe on it but the reality on securing big money or huge profits on the future doesnt a guaranteed thing and we do all know there are lots of possible things that would happen on bitcoins career/path and we cant still be assured if it still grows on high peak amounts but seeing its past potential as of now we could really able to say so. |

There is an obvious benefit here due to the price dynamics. We can see that mthe price is mostly slowly going down. This means that if you have, say, 1 bitcoin, you may spend around 20$ on something and as the price is growing you won't notice the difference in the price. Moreover, you can slowly earn some btc as well and thus you will be able to spend some money regularly and at the same time have only more and more of money. |

This is depend on the belief of the holder of bitcoin, there are some believer think that bitcoin will become 2000$ or more a years from now, including myself. But and simultaneously, I also bought altcoin to make some trade in the exchange platform so that I can easily get profit in bitcoin. Bitcoin will reach that high price but to be honest I don't think it is going to be as soon as I though as few weeks ago because the uncertainty about what it may happen to bitcoin and the rumors of a fork made great damage to the bitcoin price. |

This is depend on the belief of the holder of bitcoin, there are some believer think that bitcoin will become 2000$ or more a years from now, including myself. But and simultaneously, I also bought altcoin to make some trade in the exchange platform so that I can easily get profit in bitcoin. The rumors are not new to the community and yet bitcoin is still very successful now. If you believe on negative rumors you are losing the opportunity to invest, it was just done to lure the weak holders to dump their bitcoins so whales can buy it cheap. Been investing for years and this is the year w where I can say it's very progressive for bitcoin. |

Look just how price change from last year till now if someone store coins in 1000 dollars value what do you think he have how and did he invest good or not.
Its always good to save bitcoin just he can only go high he cant go down no like it was back in 2014 so its good to keep him.

My thoughts are they storing their bitcoins in their wallet because they don't actually wants to use banks because when you are using banks it only gives you 1% that will grow your money there but in bitcoin there are times that you can earn almost 200$ per the price will increase. |

Many of us knows bitcoin for a long time has the capacity to save the bitcoin. For the reason they can be earned profit by hold and selling bitcoin. As the price is fluctuating even if below 1000$ it will rise again. |

No doubt, when it comes to store of value Bitcoin has great potential (e.g paper wallet, cold storage, bearer items ). The best way to save it long time is distribute it to different kind of storage. If we have let's say 3 BTC, divide it by 3;
Cold storage = 1 BTC
Paper wallet = 1 BTC
Bearer item = 1 BTC
What I'm saying is we must have a contingency plan or a counter measure when bad things happen ( e.g brute force hacking, stealing from home, or forcing you to give the code )
If we are planning to store BTC for a long time that would be good, but the security and how to keep it safe is up to us. Like how we treasure our personal belongings and family extra careful would be needed.

It has the same risk because there will be no guarantee that the future will be a success for bitcoin although we are very optimistic about it. The way yo minimize the risk is to diversify from different investment and keeping yourself updated with the recent news and rumors will help you feel confident and relax when it comes to decision making. |

It is because the longer it will get and the longer you hold, they are expecting that it will rise and eventually some of that predictions or speculations are already coming true. and besides its not like you will buy and save all that bitcoin of yours, its just that when they buy they will save some and not sell it all and for their long term purpose. |

The thought is clear to everyone that if someone will have their bitcoins for longer time then they will find it of higher value. Just like in the initial stage of bitcoin all of those have earned a lot of money when the price of bitcoin increased from a few cents to $1200 and think about the previous year as from previous year the price of bitcoin increased from $350 to $1250 |

I cannot deny to myself that saving for along time was very profitable and very safe. Because your capital in the long run can possibly double or more, but we don't what will happen to the price it may fall or it may increase the value but for what most significant was you believed that there is profit that you can get to your holdings someday. |
