The benefits are obvious to anyone watching the price but even better is that benefits bitcoin by allowing it to not be as volatile as it would be if everyone was trading their coins every single day, so it helps the bitcoin ecosystem as well.

Saving bitcoins for the future means saving it for the upcoming and maybe some people have the tendancy to get rich with bitcoins. Well earning bitcoins through signature campaign would not make a person rich well it will help save a little for the future.

The good thing is that you're not really doing anythig else as the price change of btc will do everything for you. The next thing you know you have double the price you've invested on. And it won't even have to be years.

That is a foolish assumption to make as in this market that is controlled by supply and demand there is no assurance that the future of Bitcoin is only the way up. If that was the case all the banks reserves by now are not Gold or US Dollar but Bitcoin. We cannot make an investment on to something that is volatile and only controlled by whales who can short at anytime of the day in which it is getting sooner as it again reached the price of 1200$ in which a panic selling happened twice this year. Better hope for the best that it stays at that level for a long time or be prepared for the worst again.

No I think the saving of bitcoin is not for the same purpose as the saving of fiat because we save fiat in order to use them in the future for an aim while we save bitcoin because we know that it is a type of investment and in the future the price of bitcoin will increase and we will earn money with them.

The answer is obvious, we are all expecting the Bitcoin prices to shoot up so we will take advantage and use or sell for profits. It is generally stored in the wallet for a long time as an investment hoping for a future yield.

Well with the split bitcoin will loose some value, and the community will split their investment as well, but i still believing that bitcoin still the best way to save for a long period, with an amazing results on the short medium time. Atleast on the last 2 years bitcoin has already showed a bit of its potencial, even with the split coming into it, bitcoin will reach another halving at 2020.

I think this is not the only reason of benefits of saving bitcoin for a long time and i think the other are just saving it as collection or they are waiting for a service or product online that accept bitcoin as payment in the future..
And now most of the bitcoin users are holding just to get the benefits of price increase .. like traders..

Working a regular job allows you to get more Bitcoin and you can also make more fiat while paying your bills as well. I guess that most people on this forum like to just sit around on their computer waiting for money to jump inside their pockets. Well, I am here to tell you that those things usually don't happen often so I would suggest that you get to work soon before the price of Bitcoin goes up in value.

It's not a problem if you are satisfied to spend them. Because that's the reason why we are saving, to spend them in the right time as we please. And if you think that you've gain a lot of it already there's nothing to regret to spend some of them. But you should keep on saving some of them for a longer run for your assurance.

Yes if you have already made some profits then there is nothing wrong in spending some of them by selling and getting converted to fiat but make sure that you don't spend all at once and its better to have some for the future so that you can spend them again when price will be even higher.

Because there are some people that has a very good timing upon selling at higher price, after a couple of days the price starts to fall then they can buy now at lower price which is also good.

i think you can try to not use all of btc to convert into cash but you can use half of all amount so you can have other btc amount in your wallet and you can save it for a long time. i hope that you don't have to buy the stuff that is not important for you so you can keep more btc in the wallet. beside that, if you have more btc, then you can use it for doing trading and this will makes your btc is grow.

I think they waiting for the highest exchange value so that they get great profit. It better to save because of other purposes things and for we need for our future. When the saving is good it is time to invest more trading. It is good to save a bitcoin because it will grow as the days you get.

correct before i am not believed that bitcoin value will increase like this current price that is why i only put small amount here and my earning is not too big for my investment. correct also that there is no late investment in bitcoin as of now i am faithful in bitcoin and i believed that i can earn much bitcoin for more years to come.

- Country policy towards bitcoin
- What rate you purchased bitcoin. Was it at early stage like 300 - 400$ or above 1000$
- If  China decides to ban bitcoin in coming time price will fell like a ball falls from top since they hold majority.
