Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

The CAT Software used to trade - does it actually make profit?

How does it work exactly?

Thanks

That is known and mostly selling software on this forum but remember that C.A.T isn't a money making software, it helps you in trading and there are always chanses of profit and loss. Mechanism of it's work is simple, buy with lower price and sell on higher price. That software is making that actions automatically.

C.A.T will work as well as you program it to be. It is not autonomous trading solution it uses pre-defined Ping-Pong strategy
It is a bot - and as such is used mostly to help you trade 24/7, you can't manually do so. C.A.T can generate some profits for you.
But if you expect it will bring you fortune from trading then you must reevaluate your approach.

Why you not take a look and read on their ANN thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.0
Read about people's feedback about that bot too, or you can ask directly to Sampey as the creator (He looks very helpful).

I have not personally tried C.A.T, but I have heard that the pingpong algorithm isn't very good. I personally went for a gunbot, as it is much cheaper and has a newer and more advanced algorithm. I've had very good results with it the past week, nothing to complain about.

Check my sig and PM me of you're interested  Wink

Its self-moderated, so I doubt real criticism and bad reviews would be there.

I'm also interested in hearing more info about these bots (especially those which are sold here)

I had been using a trading bot myself in the past (actually, a few varieties of basically the same code) using different trading approaches and when I'm done with building interfaces to major exchanges, I will continue to polish it further. I think I have gathered enough trading experience in these years to feel pretty certain that it will be consistently earning a few percentages monthly on the capital traded since that's what I'm earning right now mostly by manual trading without particularly risking anything (apart from exchange hacks or scams, of course). For now, I'd like to hear about prices their authors ask for them. If anyone has more or less comprehensive info about that, please share it
