So i just posted here that PIvx appears to be a new version of dash without the bad start

The thread vanishes... like not deleted (no notification) and i don't see it locked down?

How is this possible?

I've never seen that happen before?

Is there a new mod on this section? because mprep usually locks and moves to the trash can with a reason but I don't see that happening here now.

I dont know anything about your old thread, but, as you seem to know about pivx, can you tell me if their 10% treasury voting and proposal system is up and running or is it still a work in progress?

Dash, the craziest coin I've ever seen. I don't think that coin will be like a dash.

Dasg has a strong community, strong investments behind.

But when it comes to trust, a coin is never trusted.

So i just posted here that PIvx appears to be a new version of dash without the bad start

I posted a response to a newbie-created thread asking about OWL and BOScoin.

Thread completely vanished and my response doesn't appear in my post history.

(But that's probably normal for bitcointalk)

Cheers

Graham

Edit. I thought to check my drafts:

Quote
looked into the most public implementation project at the moment, BOScoin.

As written, the BOScoin white paper is nonsensical conjecture. The authors are hallucinating a requirement for a procedural extension to a declarative representation.

Wrt OWL and ontologies - fwiw, the blockchain is a directed acyclic graph (DAG) and in consequence, it maps straight into an RDF model. Unlike BOScoin, I can offer a proof-of-concept, see the DOACC ontology, developed from Melvin Carvalho's initial CCY ontology:

DOACC docs: https://doacc.github.io/

DOACC repos: https://github.com/DOACC

DOACC ontology https://github.com/DOACC/doacc/blob/master/doacc.owl

DOACC population: https://github.com/DOACC/individuals

If you're interested in exploring OWL and the subset DLs and you're not already aware of Stanford's FOSS ontology authoring app, Protege, then obtaining a copy and working through the basic ?how to create an ontology? tutorials will give you a +5 spell of immunity from BOScoin-style bloviation.

Cheers

Graham

Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1825607.0

The above (posted) response has disappeared completely - no deletion advice, nothing. The only trace is in my drafts.

Probably a database hiccup and, I suspect, perfectly normal for bitcointalk.

Cheers

Dash, the craziest coin I've ever seen. I don't think that coin will be like a dash.

Dasg has a strong community, strong investments behind.

But when it comes to trust, a coin is never trusted.

But this coin to me gives even more incentive to hodl so could produce even more wild pumps if making money on swings is your thing and let's cut through the bullshit of people saying I don't like making profit I just love the idea of crypto and want to remain poor.

Along with that it actually has a fair start and no slashing of the minting.

To me this coin looks like a certain big player here. It has not even hit pump central yet. Let's await the polo listing.

If you look at my post history I have been saying everyone should get a little of this and bay just because they seem to offer a lot for the MC. I also said bbr had a good change a 5k sats.

Everyone must do their own reseach and comparisons but pivX stillCOULD have a long way to go before the train stops.

Why would you not liquidate a dash masternode and hold a HUGE % in a better clone with not bad start holding it back.

What makes you think that you wont see a good community build up around a coin that is fairer to the community?

Of course there can be many bumps in a road you do not see. So nothing is for certain. I never put in more than I can afford to lose in any coin hence why there are those probably making far greater returns on these rises than my small returns. That's cool by me I just like a little profits at least after spending a long time reading and comparing.

Crypto is kind of like gambling where you can get the edge if you put in enough work researching over those that do not. Of course you have the chance of getting bent over at multiple stages beyond your control or research. Overall though it is quite fun supporting some of these projects whilst together we are funding the development of something hopefully better than anything we've known in the past.

Indeed. This will eventually hold them back.

pivX does not have this issue.

I never click links. Is it a pick of dash graph or pivx?

Both could be in a bubble then again. PIvx clould have a lot less risk and lot more reward.

You abuse this one article that doesn't say anything that hasn't been said before only because it is NASDAQ, and you only post the cons listed. Anybody who clicks that can see the points of emphasis on why Dash is also looked at in the first place

there is no hard cap on how many times you can call a scam a scam...

complain to the daq not here.

you can be sure big companies investigate things before getting involved....well they do if they want to keep their image clean.

PIVX cap is about to break $10MM. I was hyping this tech/community/dev when it was $500k.

Really solid project. Lots of people pushing this forward. Looking for big price increases.

That scares me as a potential investor. Isn't PivX's main anon features vaporware at this point, or am I ill-informed?

Also, the anon space is quite crowded...

Monero
Dash
Zcash
Zclassic
Shadowcash
PivX
Decred (their anon tech is vapor right now, but the Decred dev team is one of the few in the space that I have faith can deliver a road map... they are supposed to up their anon game in Q3/Q4)

I know I'm missing some coins too...

I'm not trying to be a negative nancy or spread FUD, just trying to better understand the ALT coin landscape. Maybe PivX will be a great success. I have been MIA for the better part of a year.

OK, thanks. That helps me understand a little bit better!

How is the efficiency compared to Dash? Seeing as though it is PoSv3 compared to Pow. I'm not too familiar with PoSv3, but it seems like it could be more efficient than PoW.

Will you stop running around pumping PIVX Cryptohunter?

I am trying to get 10,000 for a master node and the price keeps going up.

If the price can crash by 50% I can get one. Can you spread some fud on it for a few days instead?

Thanks.
