Will Dogecoin have a future?

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

But there is also other opinion – raising of Dogecoin is proved by exclusively temporary difficulties of bitcoin. As soon as developers of this currency solve a problem of the high commissions and long confirmation of transactions, the cost of a dogikoin will begin to fall promptly.

In general, the expert forecast for Dauga for 2018 such is – cryptocurrency will remain at the previous level of development.

Yes, as Dogecoin provides faster transactions and serves as one of the better ways for micro-payments than Bitcoin.
These days, it's extremely cheap to me, so always it will be a valuable cryptocurrency to me.
I'm just keep hoping that the developers team could step up and deliver innovation to dogecoin, so as to help it become more popular once more.

I think it will be profitable only for exchange with other currencies. I think her price will never be high.

Yes it can have a really bright future as it is one of the oldest crypto but only have a good trading volume in terms of price it is mostly falling or is stuck between 90-120 sats for 2 months. It has a good growth potential just requires a little development. even ltc got pumped and now only doge is left.

I think its a more difficult question of these years. But the answer is probably Yes as it has more potential than the other kind of cryptocurrency and it is more cheap than the bitcoin tough it has a faster transaction when using it.I really like it because you can earn it for cheap and I think that its value will increase like the bitcoin. if the whole market is growing well dogecoin will have to grow

Yes dogecoin is very cheap but dogecoin has a very good potential to buy, because I'm sure one day there are big investors who buy dogecoin and pump up the price to be higher and good in trading, and I also believe the dogecoin will grow by itself later.

Dogecoin is still promising as a small payment token.
Dogecoin's community is huge, and many people are optimistic about it, which is its advantage.
Unfortunately, their technical team has stopped updating Dogecoin code, and perhaps the end of the token is 0.

Maybe their technical team will resume their active work in the near future?

Doge is one of the most interesting coin in the market. They created it for fun and now many people use DOGE to transfer their coins between exchange websites. I dont know what will happen tomorrow but even doge seems like it has a potential.

Doge is the best coin for transferring small amount of cryptocurrencies between exchanges.
I don't know other coin with such cheap and fast transactions which is listed almost in all exchanges.

With the high volume, we can't expect the rate to go beyond a certain level. Still, we can't write off doge coins yet. Bitcoin and many other coins are not suitable for day to day life payments since the high transaction time, transaction charges and large rate fluctuations. If doge can beat these, it can still thrive.

and just small people buy doge and saving it.. it make doge stable in low price

Maybe because i think some altcoin have potential if they continues growing and if many people believe to it. And right now everything is possible to happen, then you didn't expect it might happen to Dogecoin to be one of the good coin in the future.

No one can tell for sure what is the future of a particular cryptocurrency.Dogecoin has the second strongest community after Bitcoin based on Reddit subscriber count, Facebook Likes, Twitter followers.Dogecoin also has one of the most active developer team with many contributors and code updates. That being said, Dogecoin is the first coin that really innovated based on their marketing initiatives and is very active in organising marketing and charity drives. The price might be low at this point but given solid fundamentals, it has a very bright future.

Dogecoin is very loved in Asia. I think they may have a good future. I did not use, but heard enough about this coin. It is strange that about Dogecoin is no news. Incidentally. Doge Coin has no future. It is already abandoned years ago by the dev after accumulating money from their investors and leave them as bagholders. There are many altcoins out there that is better than Doge coin.
