Yep. Soon will be implemented. Developers are testing segwit, probably will be implemented after the next release of Dogecoin Core (after 1.14).

In my opinoin, the dev and team should improve this coin by adding new version of the QT wallet or making some innovation to make the price of this meme coin increase. I think this coin is one of the oldest coin in crypto world,, and the pumping space is limited.

Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

Most of these old coins like dogecoin, litecoin, zcash, ethereum classic needs to activate sigwith to their network. Dogecoin is not move at all, just stay stagnant and it volume of trade has been reducing day by day. The only conditions that will make people to pump it now is sigwith activation.

Well, as far is I'm aware of, Dogecoin's supply is near limitless as it has an inflationary model. If it turns out to become unlimited, then it would make it more ideal for micropayments and tipping, but terrible to use as a store of value as this would greatly affect its price.

It would be ideal to reduce the supply of Dogecoin somehow, but seems nearly impossible to achieve since the DOGE doesn't have an active developer of development team.

In the meantime, it would be fun to mine, buy, and use DOGE, as well as encourage others who are new into cryptocurrencies to get started with this great cryptocurrency. Just my thoughts.

As we can observed dogecoin has heen quite moving for the past weeks. And, I beleive it has good future. When I learn trading dogecoin is one of my best choise to trade with. Thus, I beleive I can really earn profit on this coin.

For me doge coin having future until bitcoin exists if bitcoin price goes up doge price will increase you can check recent bitcoin and dogecoin price variation. The name suggest like dog follows his owner . Dogecoin follows bitcoin if bitcoin goes up doge price will increase vice versa

Yeah. It is good for trading, and experimenting with it due to its inexpensive nature and high supply of coins. Since it is very fast with ultra low fees, the Dogecoin has been the number one choice of many cryptocurrency enthusiasts like me for making micropayments and more.

The recent uptrend in price is nice and profitable for the early holders of DOGE. But, it should be noted that Dogecoin was not designed to be used as a store of value, and only meant to be used for quick trades and short term holding.

Until some developer becomes interested into Dogecoin to bring innovation towards it, the DOGE will just be another altcoin on the market with probability of becoming obsolete over time. Just my thoughts.

Actually you cannot expect for a fast price increase in doge because the demand is not that arising compared from bitcoin. Trading is a good choice todo with this coin specially when price is cheap always and you will have an options to trade it for good profit sells in the future price increase. It has a typical ability to have stable growth in the market of cryptocurrencies eventhough that's an altcoin, but eventually it helped us gain bitcoin income, because of altcoins like dogecoin which has a good future.

A professional trader, told me last time that " that there is no deaths coins and if coins is at accumulation cycle amateurs traders do think the coins are dead but professional see it as an opportunity to make profit from it at the distribution cycle.
