Not sure if the name of the config matters, but if it isn't already this name exactly, change it to it: SGMiner.conf
If that doesn't work, all I can tell you is to copy/paste my info in the .conf file and put in your information (only change user and pass, as to help debug the issue) and make sure it is in the same directory as the executable file. Also, make sure that your node is fully up and running when you do it, otherwise it may not take that ip as a url (when you run the .exe file). Before you run the .exe file, make sure to fully close your node and reboot it (maybe that config file didn't update either?). After it fully syncs again, try running the .exe file again. Hopefully this works, because if it doesn't, I am out of ideas, sorry.
SGMiner.conf information again:
{ "pools": [{ "name": "Solaris", "url": "127.0.0.1:18921", "user": "WALLETADDRESS (same as the one in the config file for the wallet)", "pass": "PASSWORD (same as the one in the config file for the wallet)", "profile": "solaris" }], "profiles": [{ "name": "solaris", "algorithm": "talkcoin-mod", "Intensity": "18", "worksize": "128", "gpu-threads": "4", "gpu-powertune": "0" }], "default-profile": "solaris", "no-extranonce": true, "no-submit-stale": true, "temp-target": "75", "auto-gpu": true, "gpu-fan": "55", "temp-cutoff": "85", "temp-overheat": "90" }
solariscoin.conf again:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18921 rpcuser=sgCzxhLxagzLbE9g9sv3QNjmEQyQYuL5sk rpcpassword=111566111566 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 addnode=185.183.99.171 addnode=185.183.99.19
EDIT: By the way, what GPU are you using?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Yea I have tried all that, but it's not working. I have an RX 480 in this machine and 9 RX 480 and 2 R9 390 downstairs.

So, there is only one RX 480 attached to the rig you're currently using?
If not, then in the mining config file, try using commas and set the values independently for "temp-target", "temp-cutoff", and "temp-overheat". Example: "temp-cutoff" : "95,95,95,95,95" for 5 cards Maybe the config file is getting tripped up on that? I don't know if that will work, due to me only having one GPU. Sorry I can't be more of a help.

Yea only 1 GPU in this machine. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Do the miner files need to be in the files with the wallet? I have them on the desktop right now and separate from the wallet.

By on the desktop, do you mean in a folder that happens to be on the desktop? Here are the images of my folders with their directories: http://i68.tinypic.com/14tlgcx.png

This seems very interesting. Will be keeping an eye on the charts at Cryptopia before I make my initial buy. Overall congrats on the launch!

I think that Solaris has good start for a new coin. Looking for bright future and next development.

While I don't believe there is, it is fairly easy to acquire some coins, just join the mining pool with a cpu or gpu, the hashrate is low enough right now that you can get a decent amount.
