Bitcoiners from Toronto chime in.  New or experienced i guess it doesn't matter.  Let us now what you are using or what you aspire to use.

Personally, looking to build an ASIC mining rig with a friend.  Ordering ASIC Chips this week!
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Slightly off-topic, but there is some work-in-progress for a new bitcoin exchange based in Toronto.  Toronto Bitcoin Exchange - https://btcto.com/

Note: They are currently in "testing" phase and are encouraging people to try and hack their website and report feedback. (http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1clxws/come_and_hack_toronto_bitcoin_exchange_and_get_btc/)

(Hope you guys don't mind my hijacking the thread, was just excited to see a Canadian exchange potentially opening up.  Smiley )

I'm looking to build a small rig (maybe just USB chips). I haven't done any mining myself before but I bought some coin back at around ~100 in the big run up and sold high, effectively doubled my investment. I'm more into this as a hobby though and some extra coin never hurt (fiat or otherwise). Anyone have suggestions for Canadian group buys?

Hi I'm from Toronto! Is it just the meetup.com meetup? I thought there was one at Nathan Phillips square too.

I'd like to come to one and meet/talk to real life Bitcoin users. I'd also like some feedback on my projects (QuickBT for Canadians etc).

Looking forward to meeting you all,

Jamie

Hi guy, from Toronto too. Have been there for 7 years. But just back to my homeland for my marriage. however, I will be coming back there in a short time.

Owning a diverse crypto-portfolio is now as easy as holding a single token - for anyone.
