Why do you think BitBay will succeed, and do you think its future price might be on mass adoption. Comment below.

Nobody can say it any of these projects will have mass adoption.

However, if any are going to be useful to the masses bitbay is one I would say could be very useful in several ways. I mean there are many many use cases that have been discussed. I don't think even now the full plan for bay has been fully revealed. The dev is very creative.

I'm very positive on bitbay's marketplace and it's rolling peg concept.

I have put a few BTC in. Usually I only put 0.5 -1 btc in alts but I made an exception for bitbay.

I like Zimbeck. He appears to have very high ethics.

But (at least in terms of adoption by app users) I am betting against apps with their own tokens running by themselves as a viable model (but as you know I am biased as I am working on an app platform project). You've got to be part of something bigger such as an app store in order to get economies-of-scale.

But he can try making Bitbay an app on platform with many apps and more economies-of-scale.

I might be incorrect in my understanding and expectation. Let's see what transpires. Just adding my opinion here. (I hedged against my own project by diversifying a little bit of BTC into ETH which is an ICO app platform)

Also it seems projects are more about speculator delusion than actual user adoption (unless speculators trading are considered the users).

The thing about BitBay is that the architecture allows for an extremly wide variety of use cases. This can be directly through the smart contracts, or later down the line, as backend for new and existing bussinesses.
In a few months the team will start to focus on the real world use cases while David codes the pegging.

Look whats implement today with the new wallet!

built-in TOR feature will allow you remain anonymous & to conceal your location

BitBay Release 1.26 Feature Focus – Tor Proxy

Over the last couple weeks we have focused on multiple ways BitBay update to v1.26 will provide increased security, including the Anti-Keylogger and Cold Staking. Here we want to tell you how BitBay will also protect your privacy by including Tor to conceal your location when using BitBay.

For the Client to function with all of its many features, it must request data from various URLs. For example,

• For Price Tracking to exist on the “Buy/Sell Coins” template, the Client must request updates from coinmarketcap.com.
• Once completed, the “Buy/Sell Anything” template will include both price tracking and a shipping calculator, which both require queries to shipping APIs.
• The Client regularly checks for version updates.
• The Client confirms timestamps and other minor data online.

This built-in TOR feature will allow you remain anonymous from these ‘under the hood’ requests. This feature is quite easy to set up. After you have installed and synced the Client:

• First make sure Tor is running
• Then go to Settings tab -> General Settings
• And in the ‘Proxy TOR’ field, type: 127.0.0.1:9150
• Then close the general settings window

Congratulations! Your Client is now masking your IP address for any Client related Internet requests! Just one more feature of many in which BitBay places your privacy and peace of mind above the rest of the competition.

yes, bitbay could be huge if it have the buy/sell android or iphone app then marketing it, it could be huge and taking crypto by storm.

bitbay could also be huge if it can turn to anonymous, something like monero or dash. why only 1% interest? too little and need to be fix. 1% could be implemented if the coin already popular but seen bitbay is not yet popular, it need to be around 5-8% for first 5 years?

I am in agreement with all of those suggestions. I think they will be put on the road map after the peg. However,  i would bring the peg after these are implemented to start at a more reasonable price for the peg with more demand. Bitbay seems to have one problem - that is the marketing side. Other teams promise and hype and then just give a road map. Bay seems to code it all out first then release the news. Which is better and in a way but is not half as good for marketing. I think there is no harm in roadmaps and plans being priced in if they are actually going to come to fruition.

Bay tends to create it all first whilst everyone gets excited on other projects based on promises, then they get attached to these other projects and are less likely to leave and support something that actually has already created what others are still talking and dreaming about. I mean bitbay had smart contracts for years. Nobody mentioned it really.

DZ is certainly one of the very best devs on here but it would be great to have a marketing and networking team behind him that knew how to bring this project to the limelight it deserves. It is much more than a decentralised market place. With the peg there are a lot of use cases for this project. Actually if you talk to him there is not much I do not think he could create if he wanted to. Friendly person too.

Even without the marketing bay will eventually get to it's rightful position in the end it will just take a lot longer.

Apart from the top 4altcoins I don't see any other marketing from other alts to be honest.

I got into bitbay as I read a thread on here mentioning the marketplace. I invest in the techonology not a promise. I'm looking forward to the rolling peg.

BitBay is the future only if the team know how to marketing their creation, their smart contracts could worth billions only if they able to compare to Ethereium.

Thinking of featuring BitBay in my next episode of the Crypto Times ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbI3K4-_7GEk9xrsJJ1UBkw )

What aspects of BitBay do you think differentiates it from competing smart contract coins?

Thinking of featuring BitBay in my next episode of the Crypto Times ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbI3K4-_7GEk9xrsJJ1UBkw )

What aspects of BitBay do you think differentiates it from competing smart contract coins?

Bitbay have the only true decentralised market. They use DDE which is double deposit escrow cutting out a middle man, which makes it true decentralised! All competitors use a middle man. It has many features in the wallet/market such as 'pay via email' & in wallet voting, which are firsts in wallet features.

Also David is in the process of creating another crypto first for Bitbay which is a rolling peg. This is the missing piece in crypto & will help  stabilise the price making it attractive for investors/hedge funds etc  & as an actual currency to purchase things as there will be no huge swings in the price within a short time

Between now and the peg he is also creating more features for the wallet/marketplace like barter contracts & others

The dev David Zimbeck In my opionion is the crypto Mark Zuckemberg. In 4 yrs he has taught himself to code, create blackhalo (which is what made blackcoin what it is now) bithalo, bitmessager, helped dev nighttrader, created the worlds 1st decentralised market and is developing the first rolling peg in crypto as well as many features within the wallet which are all firsts in crypto! He's a genius!

Heres a link to all the features Bitbay already have!! No promised but ACTUAL HAVE!

i guess with 1 billion coin in existence, this coin only need to reach 1 usd to reach MK of 1 billion  Smiley

I've been buying BitBay on the drop. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this is basically a better SDC/Particl project?

There is a lot of potential with BitBay. A lot of risk I guess too. They shouldn't have ICO'd, but that is neither here nor there.

Anyone got any info on devs associated with project?
