You have to put the actual words in there not the instructions. if you followed the steps you should have a long string of 24 words for example
     " the brown cat ran out in the street and almost got hit by speeding red car the car stopped in the road and sat there"  you paste that in the HD box that pops up. then your coins will come to you. Coin's instructions shouldn't be an IQ test to determine someone's idea of what should be eventually understandable.  Where is the wallet link??? It's not on the website or in the OP of this thread.   I'm glad that team of big happy faces on the site know where it is.   Come on guys, dumb down a bit for the little people.  The coin value and adoption might rise and you might have a paycheck next Christmas.

Ya man, the guys who designed the conversion process have never actually met a human being...
Just imagine what a "marketplace" designed by these guys would look like.

So I go through the page on particl.io, read the terms and give them a valid PART address...
Says my Profile was updated and NOTHING...

Why present a form that asks for a Big Donation, your PART address and then nothing happens

I have the PART showing on my website.  I launch the wallet on my computer and put in the recovery phrase and passphrase.  I did the donation part on the website and gave the address my wallet generated.  How do I get the PART from the website to the hard drive wallet?

The output in debug window read `ismine: true` when I typed in a checking code.   Quoting a youtube guy:

1. Login to Particl Portal
2. top right click on "Logged in as <username>"
3. Scroll to the bottom and grab the `First Address`
4. Now go back to your wallet and load the debug window and type `validateaddress <address copied in 3>`
The output should read `ismine: true` - if it does not you have imported the wrong combination and you need to try again.

I have a PART desktop wallet with an address that holds PART that I bought on Bittrex...
So it is obviously a "valid address" since I have used it for transfers.

This valid address is now the "First Address" in #3 above (after filling out the Donation + Address Form).

So will they eventually send me my PART?  There is nothing more that I can do.

What "wallet creation" deadline? Show me a post anywhere with a deadline.

Why would there be a deadline July 12 before PART even starts trading?
Only 75% of investors managed this... so its hard to argue this is user friendly or necessary.

Since the Particl team wont set foot in this thread...
Now your PART has to be sent to you manually if you can find someone to help you in slack/riot/whatever...
You know, there is a thing on the internet called a "Send Button" that is considered user friendly by 99% of ICOs.

(optional) so, naturally, I didn't put it in because I'm very, very careful about putting my 2nd passphrase anywhere....however, if you created a 2nd passphrase prior to installing wallet, then you MUST insert it in the space provided..after inserting my 2nd passphrase everything worked great and my balance was transferred instantly from the dashboard to the wallet....also be sure that when you
copy/paste your 1st passphrase (or recovery passphrase as they like to call it)  make sure that you haven't added an extra space when copying. hope this helps.

I did get into my QT wallet.  In the video, it seems so simple, like the coins just get deposited instantly, but that's not what I'm experiencing.  I tried to exit the QT wallet and come back in to see if that would trigger it, but it automatically logs me in, and they're still not deposited.  What's the next step?   Hopefully, the problems can get ironed out here without people having to join slack for basic questions.
