Over the last couple weeks we have focused on multiple ways BitBay update to v1.26 will provide increased security, including the Anti-Keylogger and Cold Staking. Here we want to tell you how BitBay will also protect your privacy by including Tor to conceal your location when using BitBay.

For the Client to function with all of its many features, it must request data from various URLs. For example,

• For Price Tracking to exist on the “Buy/Sell Coins” template, the Client must request updates from coinmarketcap.com.
• Once completed, the “Buy/Sell Anything” template will include both price tracking and a shipping calculator, which both require queries to shipping APIs.
• The Client regularly checks for version updates.
• The Client confirms timestamps and other minor data online.

This built-in TOR feature will allow you remain anonymous from these ‘under the hood’ requests. This feature is quite easy to set up. After you have installed and synced the Client:

• First make sure Tor is running
• Then go to Settings tab -> General Settings
• And in the ‘Proxy TOR’ field, type: 127.0.0.1:9150
• Then close the general settings window

Congratulations! Your Client is now masking your IP address for any Client related Internet requests! Just one more feature of many in which BitBay places your privacy and peace of mind above the rest of the competition.

Bitbay is really cool. I didn't know it was a coin as well though. A market with its own coin that is great !! I can install the client right now but I will. I'm very interested to see what is on offer and I think I'll invest in some coins as well and let them stake. Thanks for bringing this to my attention I had no idea about this coin. Bitpay is new altcoins the traders will not invest in new altcoins although the price goes up, because sometime it can be scam coin, if bitbay can be entry in big ten on coinmarketcap.com will many traders talking about bitbay and trade bitbay, even bitbay has revolution features will not be interest if it just has a little capitalization.

people weren't talking about it because it wasn't pumped and you started this topic then answered (probably) with your other account adverting this coin because it was pumped from 190-200 satoshi up to 500-600 on 21st. which means your topic is less than worthless.

if you posted it any time before March 19th which was the beginning of this coin's pump then talking about this altcoins would have been worth it.

bay is a great project of market decentralisation..but it is not only..there are some projects like bay..therefore this one must stand out..i can quote openbazaar like same project since it does not really compete with it..but i think peoples are not ready yet to use décentralized market..because trust does not reign in the world..this is future when peoples will be freed of middlemen and they doesn't listen mainstream morality..the technologie must follow  to make it work good also..ebay, amazon, wallmar have such a nice days yet.

i've talk about bitbay a few years back and don't have the time to dig for it,
bitbay is like the crap scam etherieum and shadowscam combined into one, which already working.
bitbay smart contract is good and what is intended for which scam etherium lack at the moment, user friendly. shadowscam market which never come to life which bitbay already have it.

i think what bitbay really need is marketing or pump then it going to fly like crazy.
if polo adding bitbay then it will be in the top 20 or even 10 for sure.
it's true people haven't notice bitbay, yet.

You need to research this in depth.

Bitbay the current dev and the community were scammed by bter bob and dai. He (the dev) continued even after they extracted all the btc and the bay and dumped it for years on their heads

You are punishing the scammed not the scammers they already left the project with all the btc at the start. the dev stayed here to work for practically nothing whilst they dumped their free bay coins all over his head for years on end.
