So Satoshi Bitcoin will split to Chinese Bitcoin and Donald Trump Bitcoin.

If only core developers were capable/motivated/competent to find a solution to increase block size so that people can continue using bitcoin without paying ridiculous fees and insane confirmation time.
Anyways, if there is a split then BTC will not survive as BU needs 70% miner support and if there is 70% support, even less than 50% of those miners can do a 51% attack on BTC, so BTC will need to change their POW as they are planning now, at that point BTC will no longer be BTC but just another altcoin, and a technically inferior coin to many other altcoins.

So why wait for everything to fall apart when the only option is to choose an altcoin and start using it.

We can use altcoins, no problem but bitcoin gained trust. Can you use altcoin for many service? No because mostly if anyone accepts crypto coins, first is bitcoin and sometimes there are altcoins. There are big bitcoin mining datacenteres like bitfury, bitmain and etc, this means there is huge amount of money invested in it. Yes, Nowdays we have some issues but it needs some time to be fixed. If altcoin is accepted for what you want, you can use it without any problem.

I kept on wondering what is happening to our dear Bitcoin it had been falling in the past weeks all my bitcoins in my wallet had been dropping what could be use to stop the drop?or is this the end of bitcoin? let market forces let go back up.
You need to be patient and do not pay bad conversations to other users. And then many of these panic moods rush to say goodbye to their bitcoins and thus lose even more.

Yes the OP is anti Bitcoin and he'll be proven wrong in no time by the competent and ever motivated core developers who have run this cryptocurrency for some time now without any major challenge. I don't encourage panic selling but if you feel you cannot be a part of us and want to follow some shitcoins go ahead you'll come back and buy it at a higher price from us.

End of Bitcoin? I don't think so, this is much exaggerated. The price has dropped a bit, yes, and so what? It's not the first or the last time but that doesn't mean this is the end of Bitcoin. The value is still above 900$ and in the past the price was much lower but still has recovered. So, don't panic and make such dramatic annoucements, there is no reason for that.

There are many arguments about this right now, is it the end of Bitcoin? Is Bitcoin going to fall? Is it the time to switch to altcoins?
Bitcoin price has dropped to a much lower price compared to it's current prices in the past months but that don't mean that Bitcoin is going going to be no more. True that BTC price is down but only for a short term I think. Let's take this scenario:
If Bitcoin will be destroyed, it should be replaced by the litecoin 5 years ago because it has better transactions capabilities but BTC still remain on top. Because if you search for cryptocurrencies and know nothing about it ( e.g. you've search for eth then there is no choice but to hear the name BTC too ) so in the meantime you will be intrigue what BTC is, and if you search for it, you will find out that it has the highest amount of users, and a big possibility that you will choose BTC.

Using an altcoin will only make the Bitcoin situation worse.  When people say that they switch to an alt when Bitcoin is in trouble, they don't think about how they're just adding to the big price swings and possibly making Bitcoin's situation worse in the long term (people think Bitcoin is too volatile --> less people buy Bitcoin/new users sell --> Bitcoin becomes more volatile).

HODL (both chains)

Should a split happen, this is exactly what I plan to do, at least until I know which one will win  Wink
I think it is a good idea to hold both as one of them has to die eventually.
And when I say die I mean pricewise. If split happens, that means more than 50% miners opt for BU,this will slow down bitcoin transaction more if its number of transactions remain same.

Well, it is always a big deal for some guys that are losing profit because of the price dump. As a user it is also my concern, but the thing is, we stepped in a world where this is the possibility. We all know how bitcoin's price behaves, still we took this because we are positive that it will bring something to us. As a user, I think we must still be positive about this, we are just exaggerating too much.

So Satoshi Bitcoin will split to Chinese Bitcoin and Donald Trump Bitcoin.

No. There will be one BTC, the only true BTC, supported by a majority, and a new altcoin supported by a minority of BTC users.
A hard fork, if it happens, would sure hurt BTC, but I don't see why it would kill it.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

Yes, I totally agree. And the root reason of these hard fork is also to make Bitcoin survive and develop, they are finding solutions to the problem of bitcoin that they are observing. They will not kill bitcoin, well we can say that they are updating the digital currency, the Bitcoin that we know. And with these circumstances, we can see how people love bitcoin, this is the time where you can actually think who support bitcoin.

No need to get panic and there is nothing to worry about the price dip as it is the common behavior of bitcoins and its not at all new for us as we have experienced the same thing even in the past and we are very much sure that bitcoin has the ability to recover its price so sooner or latter it will regain its position.

for me, as long as the bitcoin remains its protocol, nothing should really happen. i don't so far understand why people are panic on selling their bitcoins. Huh

btw satoshi will unlikely to answer, AFAIK because he wants to prove the protocol of 'trustless' or something.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

Getting panic and selling their coins at a wrong time is a common practice of many people here as they have lack of patience and they easily get carried away with the rumors they hear about bitcoins and I think they are not aware about the history of bitcoins and if they would of know it then instead of panic selling they would be holding their coins tight in their wallets.

Whether bitcoin dies or not, I think it's too late for me to sell out my coins so might as well as hold on to them as keepsakes of the time I placed some money into something who's fundamentals I don't completely understand. Cheesy

If it rebounds, then fine, my money is still ok. If it completely crash and just become some other alt trading at $200 or less, then I can just use it the same way people are using alts. Cheesy

It is not that easy to make bitcoin dead, we still hasnt know what can happened, for now bitcoin is struggling, but this is not the first time bitcoin has problem, bitcoin will still survive, but if there is a split then it will decrease the bitcoin value and we need to wait for a long time to see bitcoin back to its best performance

This is the best farce of a coin that I have seen thus far with all this talk.
Some one should make this coin and offer it to bitfinex to see if they will take it and list it.
They are some bitches to start selling BTU even before the shit has hit the fan.

It is pretty certain that BU wont win the race with all the bugs you can imagine and remember they were running these for over a year and still they were not capable enough to find out the bugs until it was forced to and you think they are competent enough to take over the billion dollar industry.

Yes, looks like BU is slowing down according to https://coin.dance/blocks
