Upon checking now Poloniex, current ETH's volume is 100K BTC, while Dash is only 17K, is this a preparation for an incoming pump and dump for ETH?

It's possible for the ethereum, in my analyzation the ethereum gets more bullish news by the mainstream press. it will give an impact for the ethereum market and it will turn the market to the bullish trend again.

With ethereum? Yes,It is possible.
In past i have seen the ETH rolling back with the fork, but it has got a big bag holders with major use of coin in dark net.
If Dash can reach 0.1 BTC then ethereum can surely do..

i think it will go there,,
the last sell wall is break,
but don't forget about correction,, it will happend, then the up trend of eth will continue

if you have trust from this coin it might possible to hit .1 btc in this coming days, as we seen that it really moving up from each day inside

I beleive this coin will hit 0.1BTC, as price this past days has been increasing and accumulative. Eth coin has been on the top these past years. Even this has dumped and pump still it will rised again. Many also investors in Eth so it will pump indeed to 0.1 BTC though.

I don't think eth is the answer but more of a bunch of strong alts taking over.

Why do we need just one dominant currency and the rest referred to as alt coins.

It's just variations of crypto currency now. BTC has proven it's not a perfect model and since one of the major downfalls is that they have no way of correcting the flaws it will have to be surpassed by updated models.

yeah but the supply is 4x times higher, not a fair comparisin, i can make an altcoin with 10 trillion supply and have each one worth $0.01, and i beat bitcoin, but this sound right to you? of course not, and this is what ripple did with their coin, for etheruem i think can grow more if bitcoin is dumped more

Dash reaching at 0.1 btc was just a game and nothing more. From the past 7 days or so the price of dash has literally stopped growing. Mostly if the price doesn't increase within a month we see the price of dash coming back to 50$ or maybe back to it's original price of 25$.
In case of eth there is totally full chance of it to grow till 0.1 or even 0.2 within one year because this was the year for eth to prove that it can still grow and it actually did that. Eth can surely replace bitcoin in long run as it has more supply , better features lime smart contract so that few business can actually adopt it rather than all of us simply speculating bitcoin will be adopted .

Dump to BTC0.038/ETH now and volume seems reduced as well.

Yes thats what I feel now, ETH is going down not going up. Looking up to ETH's graph chart, looks like its a falling wedge pattern. But one thing for sure, if Bitcoin dumps , many bitcoin owners will surely buy ETHs.

It may be a good time to start accumulating in small quantity to get a better price over next couple of weeks and later we may get a chance to sell at a quite higher price. likewise its better to accumulate eth while price still cheaper and wait for the value to go up again, it will take some time but for sure

the volume is high because of the dumps that has been happening from the pump and it will continue to be high when whales cash out, they sell a lot of coins and that will increase the volume. it may also be some fake volume reporting by poloniex always.

also i wouldn't count on 0.1BTC price for ETH unless bitcoin price starts going down to $900-$800 which is not possible based on what can be seen from bitcoin market.
and as i said before, price of ETH will depend on price of bitcoin they have always pumped it based on that and used the FUD in bitcoin to their pump advantae.

so if BTC goes above $1200 you can kiss ETH price goodbye.
