I do not know if this is still applicable since this was posted on march and the price is really different that time like around $300 difference, but anyway this time is the worst time to sell it. Most likely the price will go back to $400 and go more after 2017. So if you still have it hold it.

If you do make short trades then i would really go for short or selling some of it and not actually dumping at all just securing profits since im an active trader of ETH. Price difference in the time of march is really different as of now and for those people who did hold until now do really have good profits as of now which we can say longterm holding do still have the chance on giving decent profits that would really be worth it. |

As of now the price of bicoin is very high but the price of ethereum is not increasing . But I hope the price of ethereum will increase so those people have ethereum in their wallet can earn a lot of profit. I dont know why other people want to dump ethereum . But if ethereum decrease the price they have chances to buy more ethereum with cheap price . But I dont know what other purpose of other people.

Dump ETH for fiat? Why not, if you need money, you are the only owner of your wallet. Dump for BTC? Okay then what's the next plan? If you considering that the price BTC will raise in that case, probably you are wrong. If this dump will be huge, then so many people will lose their beliefs in altcoins at all. Many of them currently think that ETH is one of the strongest of altcoins for now. So, then the hugely dump of all alts will be expected. Followed by mass media criticizing investment of altcoins/projects this will reduce the amount of interested in cryptocurrencies at all. On the other hand, with increase of BTC transactions count, network again will stuck with so expensive and slow transactions, and then we can back in 2013s situation, when BTC itself dropped in price 4x times.
And in terms of capitalization, the 10x ETHs growth can be easier achieved than 3x BTC growth. The total capitalization of cryptos pays attention not only of investors, but the regulators too. It is still too risky for most countries government to allow usage of alternative money with total cap more than its native fiat, so, it is easy to expect they will be forbidden to use like in China.

ethereum price will be increase soon but if you have a plan to dump ethereum, then you need big amount to just dump in one exchanges and there is many exchanges is trading ethereum with btc and fiat. and today, ethereum price is not going to increase or decrease and i think it is only waiting after bitcoin fork and i hear that ethereum want to be fork too. maybe after ethereum fork, the price will be increase and if its true increase, then it will increase too high.

Eth will get better in the upcoming years and I see big potential with increasing numbers in the tokens and more growth from them.

It is difficult to know if ETH will get more value faster than Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin can grow faster than ETH. As more people know Bitcoin. But who knows? We could buy 1 Bitcoin with 10 ETH before, now we need maybe 18 ETH to buy 1 Bitcoin...
Anything can possible with ETH because the value of ETH will increase in the market when it has more expansion in terms of development. I think it is not powerful like Bitcoin but in the coming days it is going to be good in terms of value. |

Dumping Ethereum now is a mistake.Watch the price increases after the upcoming bitcoin fork. Holding until at least 2018 is strongly advised. It's a mistake for any time. You can sell for buying lower prices but it's not guaranteed trade. I usually hold my big ETH stash in cold wallet and play with small amount in exchanges. |

But it is also a good idea to have Bitcoin if you want some Bitcoin Gold, and to buy altcoins after getting Bitcoin Gold.

that's what is happening right now actually, everyone is buying into BTC and you sell all the alts being dumped. It doesn't make sense to me though, because the same money will flow back to the alts once the hardfork is complete, so it's like nothing has changed. What people should try to do instead, is investing in things they believe have long-term value, and not only a short term pump and then go back to their original investment. Many traders are trying to catch waves, and that's especially true in such events as are forks. Even if you dump ETH, it will get back on it's feet in a couple of days (I'd recommend you not to though, because the reverse might happen and ETH might gain if something doesn't go right with BTC gold (you never know). Either way we'll find out of October the 25th.

The whole pump from $20 was mostly fuelled by ICOs - now with SEC going after ICOs (and with the Tezos troubles) this is mostly done. This whole rally now will go in the reverse direction. Currently we are breaking a long term support at 286, plus making some minor H&S:  . Around 250 is a log chart longer term trendline, it should bounce there for some time - but I believe it will also break that one, the fundamentals are not that good for ETH right now. But overall with the coding of POS finally going strong I think ETH will be a very good opportunity next year. I am sure there will be something else to replace the ICO fuel - ETH is much more versatile than BTC. |

Even now it isn't a good time in my opinion, I see Eth rallying towards $400 and a new ATH in the near future These days eth dump its price so for me its time to buy. Though it is not good a dump stage but I think ethereum will rise soon and will recover the price. Yes in the future eth will bring benefit for us. |

I think Ethereum is one of the best coin to hold on to next to bitcoin, I really see lots of potential for this coin most especially ICO's usually would use its blockchain for their project. That alone proves that aside from Bitcoin, Ethereum is also one of the top coins mainly used by other developing projects. I'd hold on to my Eth together with my bitcoin for a long time.

if you dont want to buy-sell altcoin all time and even don't have time for to follow all news than its best idea to buy eth and forget it. after 5-6 months you will gain big profit. eth have big future and has a totally working system. there are many ico - new project based on eth so i dont think eth will have big problem with price.
now ether is faster as before , you dont have to wait to much to transfer altcoins or ether. since last week i did many transfer on ether and i just wait 41 seconds or just one minute.
