Decred up 90% in 24 hours

To all your credit PIVX keeps bouncing up a lot higher off its bottoms than I expect it too.

I am not sure where this sudden Decred pump is coming from there's nothing new released as far as I'm aware so it may correct itself back down again and wipe the smile off my face, we will see.

I am just looking forward to seeing what happens with Decred when they do their "big" 1.0 release next month. I hope they get their treasury system decentralized and set up with the voting soon because that's my biggest issue with Decred right now I'm not sure if that's supposed to be coming in this release or a bit later.

my thoughts too. DCR has the potential as top 5-10 coin, so why not be there in price?
its unique no ICO, PoW, GREAT coin! the PoS ticket system rocks too, this is just the sleeping giant awaking!
it WILL prob correct a bit, but long term, 0.05 is easy for DCR IMO

its really making a big break out and looking from a positive points of view surely the price will still moving up
better to hold and keep buying dcr is really showing good potential to be more valuable in long term investment

I dont see what makes DeCred's any better than the other 600+ wallet-QT knock offs.  Does anyone have any insight other than listing the same features as every other wallet-QT with GUI interfaces and in this case I guess Charlie Lee's endorsement?  If this is all that it has going for it then I would say its way over valued.  That said, seems like a pump and dump to me as well but hey look at DASH, who knows where it might stop and how little or hard it may pull back.

all coins increased recently, the reaosn is that money from bitcoin move to altcoin, and a 90% increase is nohing extraordinary, every coins now is +90% or more, like ethereum and dash which are 300-400%, why people are astonished for something like this? it's pretty normal in crypto

My guess is that it's related to the "hardfork voting" feature slowly taking form. That's in sharp contrast to the way Bitcoin is doing controversial updates.

Governance is an unsolved problem in cryptocurrencies. Decred at leasts does offer a new model that can be experimented with. It is unknown if it will work better than "benevolent dictators" or "chaotic voting" like in BTC, but it's worth a try.

pretty simple decred isn't a wallet-QT or a fork of bitcoin, is writed from scratch in golang, its wallet doesn't use QT at all, paymethus wallet use .net decredition wallet use electron

It has been growing about 4000% under three months! I don't think it's a pump and dump. Just that the supply is very low, condidering around 40% of the 5 million coins mined are locked staking. DCR has been gaining attention due to the very interesting governance model, there has been recently a presentation at Coinbase, and they have an ambitious roadmap. What happens when big bags are coming and the supply is low? The price increase is what happens!

But there is not much activity going on there. Barely any recent discussions.
So without any serious news, it is safe to assume that it's standard pump&dump action.

Congrats man.  I actually just saw this in the new Crypto Times episode and my jaw dropped. 

Nice score, hope it continues, but this PIVX rocket is still in launch position.
