Crowdfunding
- ICO will proceed through the native SONM application using Ethereum smart contract.
- No token creation, minting or mining will be available after the crowdfunding period. At the
end of the ICO, SNM token creation will be closed permanently.
- SNM tokens transfer will be restricted for security reasons for one month after the end of
crowdfunding. All unredeemed tokens will be burned.
- In case of the maximum ICO funding cap not being reached, tokens distribution (bounty, SONM team, SONM ecosystem) is proportional to the number of SNM generated during the ICO.

Will be accepted for payment ETH. Other details will be announced officially.

There was a massive bonus for the PRE-ICO participants. The pre ICO sold out.

You can register on the website, download the client and test it. Profit from your calculations will be credited in DrugDiscovery tokens.
DrugDiscovery client is desktop (alpha version at the moment).

The next step of development is the SONM desktop client for general-purpose calculations and mining clients for the other non-PC platforms.

Yes, initially we planned to work with BOINC-architecture, but there were difficulties related to the scientific direction of BOINC calculations and support only for C++/ FORTRAN / Python, which means that there is no flexibility in the application.

We decided to use more advanced solutions, such as the Cocaine platform and Docker containers (which support a large number of programming languages, including Java, Node.js, Go, etc.), and focus not just on distributed computing, but on fog computing. So we will create a more universal platform for any application.

Our infrastructure remains BOINC-compliant, but we consider this technology to be outdated and focus on a new solution and new perspectives.
