The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Yes you would. The driver's the same, and 2Pac and Terminus have different speed flags.

275MHz ran stable overnight. I restarted it this morning on its own worker for ease of tracking.

Actually 275MHz makes a theoretical max of 121GH. It might be pushed further, and I'm considering upping the max voltage, but the ~3.1V/275MHz is about the peak hashrate from 60W DC. But there's no good reason to limit it to 5A brick power since some people have 8A bricks or PCIe PSUs. The stock fans and heatsink will only handle so much heat, but the final version has a temp sensor and overtemp shutdown for that reason.

Quite a few folks may have 10A bricks left over from the Gridseed Blade days - though I wouldn't want to push 10A out of those bricks 24/7

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

yeah  but he has a pcie jack on the miner  so any atx or sever psu will do.

Yeah but if you got 10A out of one of those bricks it'd be because there was something terribly wrong with this miner. The Vcore buck would peg out at around 65 watts output.

Nope. The PCB fab's promised turnaround times are way underestimated these days - the 20-pack of prototypes took a full 4 weeks to be delivered, as manufacture certainly wasn't completed inside the 6-8 day estimate.

I'm also still waiting on final firmware from the PIC guy.

And I've got to set up a stouter CNC for drilling out these bigass heatsinks since the little guy with the little heatsinks won't be sufficient.

But materials are on order for about a hundred that I should be building before the end of the month and which should ship in time for Christmas. If they go over well I'll work on making more, which will mean further negotiations for a supply of more decent chips. But I'd like to make at least 500 of these.

Europe version is planned. Will have to come with a housing (mandatory), which I am currently about to design. Lots of regulations to follow in EU.

Wow, this project looks great. I was thinking about buying a used U3 or something off ebay, but now I will just wait around for these to come to market and snatch up one right away. Should be easy as I am running 2pacs at the moment.

Keep up the great work and keep us posted.
