IMHO it will be a lot less than he *should* charge. In many ways these will become collectables much like his stick miners have. After all, they are largely hand-crafted and certainly -- unique with Limited Quantities ever made.

Spot on NFW. I have no complaints at all from my experience with sidehack's handiwork. The Compac is hashing/blinking away immediately to the left of my monitor, and the s7LN sidehack "adjusted" to make less noise is providing (less) heat a bit further to the left.

No mining at the moment.

I'm not the kind of person who's putting pressure on someone.

But I was wondering when the euro version would be available.

The 2Pac is out of stock at bitshopper and wouldn't it be more wise to wait for this pod if the shipping of devices might be near?

Went throught the entire thread and didn't see any final estimate of the price so it's hard to guess how many time the price of the 2Pac it will be.

Now that the DragonMint was announced with their own chip, is that a consideration in your design? Are you currently using BM138x chips?

Think I can safely answer this for Sidehack: Riiiiiiight.....
And yes the pods still use the old s5 chips, eventually will be BitFury's 16nm ones.

Like they would even consider selling bare chips used in their (so far Vaporware) new miner that has yet to to be seen in the Wild....

Halongmining has stated that they will sell chips, just have to wait to see how that all plays out

Me too, but as with any time I trust someone else to do part of the job, the one part of design I've left in someone else's hands is about a month behind schedule getting done. Grumble grumble.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

So long as the end product is solid, (no reason to believe it won't be) it will be worth the wait.

These look great!  I'll take 4 when they are ready.

If you need someone to do CNC drilling on heat sinks, I have a bridgeport 3 axis CNC and am an OK (non professional) machinist.  I could probably bang a bunch out for you, and would work for pods, pm me.

Heatsink drilling is handled in-house by CNC already. I don't have the jig and program built for the Terminus heatsinks but it's a work in progress. Thanks though.
