now that the product is finalized and almost ready to ship out, can you please provide the full dimension of the pods? i.e. Len x wid x height
Has this been answered?

Has this been answered? Here a quote from sidehack on page 22 I believe. answers part of the question haha. Oh no, it's much smaller than that. Fans are about 50mm. The whole thing is 100mm square. One of these days I'll post a quick sketch of dimensions with corner screw sizes and locations, height with fans, jack positions and the like. Right now my little guy keeps dropping out, but it's because my Pi locks up. Not sure exactly why and there's a lot of info on here how to prevent that. It's not exactly a new unit and my SD card might be lousy. Gonna talk to Phil about a good reliable setup, he's pretty good at Pi stuff. If we (and the Minera guy) can figure out something decent I'll try and make a Pi controller a kit option.

Or 100mm, which is less than 4 inches.

My original idea was 4x4 inches, until I noticed that for the board house I was getting PCBs from, 100mm square boards in prototype quantities cost about half as much as 101.6mm boards. Doesn't matter a lot for production quantity.

sidehack's new Terminus R808 in operation: https://imgur.com/KpuTY0yAnd a screen capture of my very first share accepted from an R808: https://imgur.com/Sq3pOtRConfiguration: 12V power: Selectec 5A AC adapter, on 120VAC comm: 1) mini-USB cable, Anker 7-port USB 3.0 hub (one of the hubs I've got 2Pacs on), USB 3.0 port on controller software: cgminer 4.10.0 for GekkoScience TM 2Pac (default package settings), USB drivers installed via Zadig utility controller: HP ProBook 6570, Windows 10 Pro This thing is cool! Can't wait for the rest to show up! Now I've got to work on tweaking this bad boy. I have an 800W PSU, so no problems there.... That 6-pin PCIe is an excellent touch, but the barrel connector will make this work well as an educational tool. An excellent piece of work from folks that provide outstanding service!

They're bench-tested at 200MHz (88GH) for an hour before shipping out. I can't guarantee they'll run faster than that, but like the 2Pacs, they'll probably run faster than that.
However, you're limited by a 20A peak draw through the main regulator, so depending on the chips and ambient temperature, about 275MHz is the practical upperbound.
The USB signal port does not draw any power at all, so a powered hub isn't necessary.

I only did that out of expediency. It's now running on an unpowered 7-port 2.0 hub (a really cheap hub, btw) , still in a 3.0 port on the pc. A side note - one of my 2Pacs did NOT like it when I pulled the R808 off of the hub. It has recovered, though. Edit: Haven't updated my cgminer yet. I noticed that it started at 50 MHz, then ramped itself up to 200 MHz (the pod, not cgminer). I don't remember cgminer having an autotune feature, so this is part of the design and "firmware"? Just curious. Just hit 100GHs on the POOL REPORTED hash rate. Awesome!!!

No, that's part of the Gekko driver. Hopefully VH will explain all the details, but he's added flags for start, step and running frequency because these guys tend to work a little better if you ramp up from a cold start rather than driving straight to full speed.

Nice pod well design ! If you're looking for something to mine I suggest Digibyte I mine DGB with an old Antminer C1, around 15-20 DGB per TH per day ATM https://dgb-sha.theblocksfactory.com/You will be able to mine a few DGB / months. Mining and holding , then wait for price to surge x100 TX fee is super cheap and the blockchain super fast.

Are these first few to units beta testers? I would like to give you money when ever that starts. I have emailed and gotten a response. Happy to test stuff to. I do hardware and software QA for a living as well and would be happy to lend a hand.

No, they're actual production units. Stock is still pretty limited, so Laura contacted the first people on the list as as more stock is made available she's going down the list. Right now even if I didn't hold back any for bulk sales, the total "first batch" would have covered slightly more than half the interest list. So if Laura's already got your name in the hat, you're good to go and will be contacted as soon as I have more Terminus miners available. I uh, I didn't make a formal announcement about sales because we already had such an extensive list and since there was already a protocol in place for being added to that list. For anyone left behind - email laura@gekkoscience.com to talk to Laura the fabulous and efficient salesgal and she'll give you all the details. She also has both regular stock 2Pacs and 2Pac seconds available for immediate shipment.

I'm not a beta tester. sidehack posted the availability earlier in this thread. Mine just happened to arrive today, and I've been playing with it. No, that's part of the Gekko driver. Hopefully VH will explain all the details, but he's added flags for start, step and running frequency because these guys tend to work a little better if you ramp up from a cold start rather than driving straight to full speed.
sidehack: I think I (vaguely) recall that ramp feature being mentioned, but I've never seen it work. My 2Pacs go from zero to zoom.
