I am a big fan of the Game of Thrones and I hope some of you here are also fans. I have discovered that some sportsbetting sites are now also offering odds on who will rule at the end of the whole series. We have 2 more seasons to go before we find out who.

Daenerys believes she will rule over Westeros one day, but it's not likely

Dany's vision from the House of the Undying in Season 2 suggested it, and we're still going with it: King's Landing is going to be nothing but a smoldering, snow-covered ruin by the end of the show.

I just realized the Night King isn't on the betting list.
If Dany's vision comes true, everyone who ever placed a bet on GoT is going to lose.

In some twisted way, i think the Night King is the best option for the people of Westeros, They have been fighting between themselves for a very long and as we all know a divided house cannot stand, as they go forth to fight the army of the dead now, Cersei is already betraying them which is very stupid cos the lives of everyone is on the line now. And the trip to get back the dead just to convince here is the most stupid thing ever.

There are indeed leaks for the upcoming season 8 but according to reports, all of them are fake but without doubt it was really good reading them though, there was lots of deaths in the main characters and there wasn't any Azhor Ahai as a matter of fact.

Please post them even if you think they are fake. It will keep the discussion going and it will also help with the long winter. I really am hating HBO for doing this to us.

I hope the wait is worth it and that they make season 8 the best of all seasons.

Yes there were some great action scenes but other than that there wasn't much this season, I'm assuming this is because they don't have GRRM's books to adapt from anymore. I hope they make good use of this time and probably hire some better writers.

Never been a fan of Daenerys Targaryen and we all know that Jon Snow has never been really been ambitious about ruling , in fact he took on the mantle of King of the North just because it was bestowed on him by his people and not because he wanted it. He is the best choice because he values the life of everyone instead of the throne.

I think the person who will rule in series Game of Thrones would be Jon Snow. Because Melissandre always insist that she sees the person who will rule next or she sees in the prophecy the person who will rule the whole Kingdom and I think it is Jon Snow, he was brought back from the dead for a reason and the fact that he does not know that he is a Targaeran which was the one who ruled the Iron Throne, there is a big possibility he could be the one.

It is kind of sad that game of thrones will be back on 2019. It's been almost a month now since the last episode had came out but it feels like a year.

@birra guzez. Yes it will be a long winter but the wait will be worthwhile because the last season will have feature length episodes averaging 90 minutes each.

There is also some great news confirmed by George R.R. Martin. He and Game of Thrones veteran Bryan Cogman will make a spinoff of the show. It will be released as early as 2019.

Martin is involved in all of the prequel projects, which include shows developed by Jane Goldman, Brian Helgeland, Max Borenstein and Carly Wray. However, he admitted that he’ll be working with “some more closely than others.” But by the sound of it, Cogman will be enjoying his full cooperation. “I’ll be working with him every step of the way; we’re going to be co-creating the show.”

Martin did caution that not all five of the prequel projects will make it to air. “But we could possibly see two or even three make it to the pilot stage, with one series emerging on air in 2019 or 2020.” And that’s his best guess — he stresses that no one knows for sure.

Haha this bets are to good, I remember when the series was on I stumbled upon three scrips of season 8, it's shown the hound shall prevail, euron shall indeed kill cersei, dany has little Jon inside her and Jon as usual won't know anything, till the third script her dragons were safe, but bran will die due to his stupidity. So that rules him out, George keeps on insisting that that's it's a story OF Jon and Dany now here's where I feel is dany shall give up her life for Jon, and the so called Prince doesn't exist, it's Jamie who shall sacrifice his life and kill the night king, I feel Sansa has the best odds to rule the kingdom, she's beautiful and she's got brains.

@Juggy777. But were those leaked scripts confirmed to be real? I reckon many followers of the series said it was fake and that we should not take them seriously. However, they were all very well written and it still did a good job to get our attention.
