Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!]

^^ I think the people betting on the favourite are making a mistake when most modern series go out of their way to create unexpected twists to the story.    If you consider the pay off vs risk of that scenario then betting on the favourite is either time to take a seat and not bet just watch or place a smaller bet on the a feasible outside bet imo

Agreed. I have watched leaks, read the rumors and all the theories for the finale. All of them are almost the same, with some small differences, but they ended in Daenarys and, or Jon winning and ruling.

As a tribute to George R. R. Martin's brilliance, I shall bet on Gilly to rule hehehe.

There was a story that previously there were 3 dragons that the Targaryens rode to battle and each dragon picks one master. Now there are only 2 left and one of them has a master (Daenerys). The most probable outcome is the other dragon choosing John since he is a Targaryen too and both of them fighting and ruling together. We can expect some twists but that would be my guess.

I would like to see what Daenarys do when she get to the know the truth of Jon Snow parentage and this his right to rule the iron throne since he is the son of Rhaegar. And I doubt Jon Snow is going to be killed off especially when they did and already resurrected him.

I don't think Bran has any realistic chance of sitting on the throne, he's a three eyed Raven now, and they're above kings how did you forget it. Also it's Bran I don't see him surviving for long as soon as the white Walkers will attack he'll come out to kill them, and spoiler alert he'll be flying on a dragon and will die because he's to stubborn. I feel it's going to be tyrion who'll be sitting on the iron throne he's the most deserving one and he's an Lannister. I think tyrion will form a marriage alliance or his existing marriage will be used to form an alliance, will be very interesting to see how it goes.

But explain the change in the odds. It is clearly a big change from Jon and Daenarys the favorites for more than a year to Bran as the new favorite with only a few months left before the rumored April 21 date starting the final season.

Bran Stark might be Azor Ahai reborn. That would be the only explanation.

After trailer I`m sure more than ever that we are going to see a big surprise. In the clip fire and ice meets on half, maybe some new characters will appear and take the throne. In this serial every time when someone was favored to achieve something was killed, or that person died, thats why I doubt that Jon Snow can sit on the throne. I didn`t put my money on little Ben, but I can imagine that scenario, maybe I should put some money on him, that would be surprise in some way, and this serial is all about surprises.

I don't get it what's there to be surprised, this is the season finale and excitement and tensions are running high. There're only three months now for GOT to premier, and I have yet to pick on that one character who'll survive till the end. I believe most of them will be bumped off, and Tyrion, Sansa and Jon should survive others I feel won't make it till the end, but I'm excited to see will Jon or Jamie kill the night king?.

I wonder how many others got the chill when they saw the ice coming, I definitely felt it and if this is the teaser I can’t wait for the show to begin. I also believe the feather which was first seen in season one, and season five has significant relevance to Jon’s parentage, and normally when we saw thes faces on these statues, those people die so does it mean three of my favourite characters are already dead. I would not feel sad cause I’m feeling super excited for this premier, and once this ends I can’t wait for the spinoff and I’m sure you’ll be the one creating an odds thread for that too.

It may sound strange to you but am I the only one which I am not thrilled by this show. All kind of perversities are not my strong point and that is I have never watched this movie no matter I see it has only good reviews. Brother and sister is not my favourite either.

Not sure what the odds are at Nitro, but I'll share today's outrights from Fairlay - not very big orders available for the favourites (just 0.023 BTC currently) but there's a very interesting addition of "Resurrected Ned Stark" at 171/1. Tempted to put a fun bet on that, but I'm probably going to go for something above 10/1. Jon Snow and Daenarys? Come on, the series won't let them sit on the Iron Throne

Someone already put a bet on Arya at 22/1, so I'm jealous cause that'd been my pick. 15.47 still doesn't look shabby.

Well i wouldn't be too sure about that though. If there's one show where they can easily kill a favorite character right off the bat in the first season, it's game of thrones. There's been a lot of speculation around who'll end up being on the iron throne and it may be someone who we're all not expecting. Everybody's expecting jon snow so it probably wouldn't be him.

You cant count petyr baelish out of the running even if he died on screen where we are lead to believe he did.

I don’t think that theory is right he’s dead but in the trailer Jon says Daenerys is dead and she delivered a girl, and to make it worse her body is sent to Cersei. I feel it’s a ploy to kill Cersei where I feel she is alive, the body that’s been sent is Arya Stark who’ll pretend to be Daenerys. Also I feel that it’ll be Jamie who’ll kill the night king, but I feel by the last episode none of the main characters may survive, and it may be shown that Sam is reading a book to the Jon and Daenerys daughter.

Yea i watched that before and there are many theory that petyr baelish will have a vital character on the final game of thrones. What if no one rule in the end? Is there odds for that? Because i think there will be no one rule in the end.
