I may be in minority here but I didn't really like the fact that Night king died so easily. everyone kept saying from first episode-first season

that "Winter is coming" "Winter is coming" and when it came then poof.... very disappointing!!

Now for me its just a show where bunch of dudes and ladies fighting for very uncomfortable chair- some calls it Throne. zzzzz

I wish I could regret to say that this epic series has turned into a disappointment since season 5.
From that season every dumb event/scene lasts forever while all the important events lasts only an episode.

I am so disappointed that night king died so easily (he has my favorite character). His story could last much longer, for example make him an ally to fight against Cercei.

In any case, the show is not as exciting for me anymore, except for my head to head who will die first bets, which I reckon might also be not that unpredictable anymore.

Yeah, nothing much to left for me as well, Dothraki army all dead with some useless characters ( minus Night king).

But we still have couple of encounter left to watch for ex : Arya vs Cersei , Clegane brothers ( Hound vs Mountain)

And I am hoping for Jaqen H'ghar and Arya's reunion, guess its depends on the writers

Lmao i know right. Before this season start, "winter is coming" is really iconic and to be honest i also dissapointed seeing Night king just died like that. So after that event, the big candidate and characters left to rule game of thrones are Jon, Daenerys and Cersei, also maybe other starks member.

Now my bet for the throne is Sansa or Cersei, doubt the mother of dragon or Jon Snow are going to make it. Arya is likely going to die in the next 2 episodes.

I'll admit the Night King's death took me by surprise, but it kinda makes sense in a way. GRRM and D&D have stated that the show and books will have the same ending. Night king isn't really a thing in the books, so they had to quickly remove that threat to tie the last three episodes to GRRM's plan for the book ending, which I assume involves Cersei fucking everything up in some kind of crazy way.

With that in mind, I'm going to go out on a limb here with a wild theory of my own:

We haven't seen much of Cersei for a couple of episodes now, and we know travel time is all fuzzy in GoT....

I'm going to make a prediction that the next episode will start with a surprise attack by Cersei's army on the survivors of the battle of Winterfell. Everyone is standing around shell shocked, we get the "we...won? Yay!" bit, then boom - surprise attack from the Golden Company.

THEN we will see main characters start falling.

Probably not going to happen but it's always fun to theroycraft while waiting for the next episode 

anyone bet on arya to 'destroy' viserion? thats a win for yes ?

This is one I've asked our sportsbook team about, kinda interested to see how the bet was officially settled, but I'm assuming it was a win.

For me, It would have been a better show if no magic or dragons were involved.
Game of thrones should have been a purely diplomatic show so that witty people like Tyrion would have been a great attraction.
Still Tyrion is one of the favorite but he can't see past, make magic or owns a dragon.

Hindsight is always 20/20 before Episode 3 was aired all predictions leads to Jon Snow being Azor Ahai killing the Night King or even Tyrion Lannister. But now when we find out who really killed the Night King dozens of videos showed how it was Arya destined to kill the Night King. One thing I learn about predicting Game of Thrones now is never think outside of the series and that's including the books. Because the past 7 seasons amd episodes already have left us a lot of clues on what will happen next.

That's a very good point.

It will be interesting to see how much of the Northern army actually survived the battle of Winterfell, we mostly just saw named characters at the end of the episode and most of the bulk of the troops seem to have already been wiped (the Dothraki for example).

I could see Cersei attacking if she had surprise and numbers on her side, especially if it was while the Northern army is still broken and exhausted.

Damn I can't wait for the next episode

The North being independent is interesting, as is the number of dragons left at the end of the series - personally I'm expecting both dragons to fall before the end.

The number of people is getting smaller and smaller. I know many of who are alive will not be a candidate for the iron throne but not having Jamie there is a bit weird, I know he won't sit on the iron throne most probably but he is at least much better candidate than Cersei at this point, Cersei is literally the one everyone needs to beat now and considering she is the bad guy on this season after Long Night is over I can't see how she could be really in for a candidate over Jamie because if everyone dies fighting each other at least Jamie could still claim the throne somehow, I once again repeat I don't think he will sit on the throne but he should have higher odds than the current occupant, otherwise we can assume Cersei just beats everyone and keeps the throne which wouldn't be a good ending at all.

I have watched some of theory videos on youtube and my mind was FU*** , the episodes before his death was clearly showing hidden messages that I personally didn't notice when I watched the episodes

now with the disappointing death of the night king I really like an ending where Baelish come back and control everything

he is the smartest character in the whole show and his death doesn't make sense , he can't just be outplayed by two girls
he stayed in winterfell even he knows that everyone hates them + Bran knows his past , thinking about it now I can't see he was that stupid to risk everything in winterfell

I'd quote Cersei "Not small enough". Really, just Theon, Jorah, Melisandre and Lyanna are of note. They have fans but are barely major characters. Varys should have died in the crypts.

Either of them. If we can believe D&D's promise of a "bittersweet" ending, it seems one of them could die. I dunno, maybe fall of a dragon after it's hit by one of the scorpions. It happened to Rhaenys in Dorne, maybe they can reference it in the show.

I think they'd restrict their dragon use though since King's Landing is already a tinderbox with too many people in it.

Today episode was bit slow IMO, writers seems to building story here again.

Lesson to learn from this episode.

1. Watch out! beautiful chick knows how to manipulate.

2. Never trust girls with your secret- specially cute one-

3. Hot chick can be weirdly cold after little emotional breakdown sometimes.

hope you made some money from Rhaegal death  my friend contacted me about the leak like 12 hours before the episode but I was driving to another city so had no access to my bitcoin accounts
managed to bet around 100$ on my local site which weirdly kept the betting open even after the lead , maybe they thought the leak was fake ?

any idea if bitcoin sites kept offering the lines after the leak was released ? would had been really good opportunity since the leak involved Rhaegal , Jaimie banging Bryan and Missandei's death

odds was great for Missandei to die before Grey Worm , but still not sure if betting was available after the leak and if bets were voided or not
