Hello guys!

Just bought some EQT today and I have a few questions.

I am new to mining.

Can it be mined in a RPI3?
What's the average ROI to expect?
Do i need to join a pool?

Page 1 says 72M coins but CMC says 7M total supply. Coins were burned or am I getting things wrong?
My wallet doesnt start the sync proccess.

Gonna read throught the pages but any help is appreciated.

Been working on Polo integration most of the past week. Updated the database and the code responsible for synchronizing with APIs to support multi-exchange so it should be easy to add more in the future with these changes in place.

Moving forward, in about 1-3 months time, we will be hiring a frontend developer to work with me to port the platform over to a new more beautiful UI and things will speed up with someone taking care of the frontend. But this will be done only after I have most of the basic features in place, so we don’t get too much mess at the beginning as everything is changing very quickly now as I'm building the basic structure. I want to get the basics of following, and closing positions, and the bot and the emails and stuff in place, so when someone comes it’s all there and they can just dig in and start working.

As soon as I can get the database pretty well defined for following and positions, markets, keys, and etc., then I think it will be fine and we can start lashing out on the frontend.

Profile page has been updated and now shows both exchange positions.


And integrated with the Settings panel, where you can input your API keys.


Markets pages also already showing live price data from both markets.



Now I'm working on the code for closing positions for 1Broker and Poloniex from the dashboard. So the close gavel icon will trigger a close when clicked.

For those having problem to sync the wallet :

-Check that your firewall , box is not blocking the wallet.

-close your wallet

-create a equitrader.conf file in %appdata%/roaming/equitrader/

-and copy paste these node to it :

After that save it ,relaunch your wallet wait some minute to see if it connect to node if not you must check that something is not blocking your wallet.

PS: be sure to deactivate hidden extension on windows to not save a equitrader.conf.txt this is not working

Another way to add node and equitrader.conf file is to use the console on the wallet :

-Go to Help then debug console , then console tab

type this command for each node you want to add :

addnode 103.252.200.54 add
addnode 109.202.103.170 add
......

Relaunch your wallet and wait for the sync.

I'm looking into making the code even more generic and abstract so that we will be able to plug all exchanges easily in the future. However, I should probably stop focusing on that for now, and instead concentrate on tweaking the bot to make it understand there are multiple exchanges, and to set it up to receive emails from TradingView for trade automation with the use of strategies built with TV pine script and alerts.

Rest assured I'm working full steam ahead on the platform in order to get the beta out by late Q3 or early Q4.

The difficulty algorithm for the coin needs to be adjusted. The difficulty switches between the values 590 and 2360 and nothing in between.
With a difficulty of 2360 the block times are more than 10 minutes in average when paying for a total of 10 GH/s of scrypt. Usually there is less than 1 GH/s on the network so the chain gets almost stuck.
When the difficulty goes down to 590 usually a person watching the pool throws more than 30 GH/s at it for 10 to 15 minutes. This morning a person jumped in and with an excessive rented hashing power could mine 10 blocks in 10 minutes when the block times are supposed to be 5 minutes in average. He or she made a profit of about 0.05 Btc in 10 minutes and left careless the blockchain almost stuck. This will probably happen again if the difficulty algorithm isn't improved. It did happen again this evening with propably the same creative egoist.

Max supply is 72million, but at the moment only about 7M are available and over 6M are in circulation, the rest are being mined. Not sure when all the 72M will be available but will certainly take a few years
