A lot of progress has been made over the past week with the new dev on board.

- We are now looking into adding spot markets including Poloniex and Bittrex. Due to the complication of spot markets vs margin markets, margin markets will allow us to implement "automated social trading" where you can follow other traders and automatically shadow their trades, whereas for spot markets it is likely they will only be used as "social signals" but no automated shadowing of the trade.
- In the midst of redesigning all pages for front-end.
- On schedule for private alpha by the end of September.

Token wise, as most users who have been following the telegram group has shared, we have not pushed any new code, but we are looking into switching chains into either a dPoS, MN, or Smart contracts chain. This will be done in a couple months time, when the platform is closer to launch, and we will conduct a swap to the new chain.

For those having problem to sync the wallet :

-Check that your firewall , box is not blocking the wallet.

-close your wallet

-create a equitrader.conf file in %appdata%/roaming/equitrader/

-and copy paste these node to it :

After that save it ,relaunch your wallet wait some minute to see if it connect to node if not you must check that something is not blocking your wallet.

PS: be sure to deactivate hidden extension on windows to not save a equitrader.conf.txt this is not working

Another way to add node and equitrader.conf file is to use the console on the wallet :

-Go to Help then debug console , then console tab

type this command for each node you want to add :

addnode 103.252.200.54 add
addnode 109.202.103.170 add
......

Relaunch your wallet and wait for the sync.

Ty. This fixed my connection problem but now I am like stuck with syncing at 10 hours behind on 18623 block

Don't worry about the blockchain, it's not unusual, i think it has something to do with hashrate, it'll go back to normal eventually

EquiTrader will shift from Proof-Of-Work to Proof-Of-Stake + Proof-Of-Work Algorithm .

Details :

Algorithm Type :-  POW + POS
Hashing Algorithm :- X11
Block Time :- 120 Secs
Block Reward ( POW ) :- 20
Block Reward Halving Rate :- 50,000 Blocks
PoS Interest per year :- 30%
Minimum Stake Age :- 1 Day
Maximum Stake Age :- 30 Days
Block Size :- 8 MB

This is how many blocks will be generated per day :- 720
The block reward will cut in half every 2.28 months.

A swap will need to be done. More info will be shared soon.

After I added more nodes it synced.
Want to get my coins from exchange to wallet before the coin swap.
