Phase 1: Blockchain Infrastructure Restoration
– Introduce the CannabisCoin Cooperative (done)
– Restore reliable hashing power to the blockchain (done)
– Grow the number of nodes geographically (done)
– Update Block Explorer (done)
– Increase number of mining pools (in progress)
– Update Android Wallet (in progress)
– Audit GitHub Code and research options for code changes and updates. (in progress)
 
Phase 2: Improvements
– Present First Use Case: CannIndex
– Implement strategies to switch over to PoS, or hybrid PoS/PoW
– Promote both CannIndex and CannabisCoin as  tools for the Cannabis Industry

Was a heavy mining supporter of CANN during the x11 switch and it slowly declined into the poor state it's in these days. If some actual change can be brought about to this coin i will be more than happy to help with server resources for a node

awesome, i just acquired the domain cannindex.com for the development im working on. er at least initiated (i need to find some talent to help with coding aspects). simple stuff, but can completely change the dynamic of how this coin could be used.

well i live on the washington/oregon border and know a few rec growers as well as medical growers i can talk with. If you want to check with my involvement of CANN just go to the old post and go back a year. I also have many ideas that could have benefitted CANN back in its early stages but B4zz never took them to heart. I know what you mean about finding a coder, let alone a coder that is willing to put there own time into the project.

Let me know the progress on the code developement. I dabble a tad but am in no way a competent coder. Maybe we can get the source for CANN on github?

looks like there is something on github still thankfully.
I would definitely suggest moving to a more asic proof algo since x11 isnt viable for gpu mining anymore. prefferably something that is a cpu based algo to make mining for the average user more accomplishable. Remember the majority of people that will benefit from this wont have a lot of resources to aqcuire the coin.

Lyra2re2 is the first algo that comes to mind that's solid and secure.

using complex sounds in synchronistic alignments to convey a perception of thought through a formulaic language is an art of finding the order in randomness.

wish i knew more about algorithms, switching to PoS i think would be novel. maybe an algo that works well with tindermint? After all, im not a big fan of wasting resources, its not like were trying to map out the human genome or anything

Nice, id like to make it out to that area one day. I myself have worked a bit on a few farms, we for sure need people that understand the industry in our community. I think 2017 is the prime time to make cannabiscoin work as both industries are emerging (blockchain and cannabis).

ill keep this thread updated at the very least once a week, and get i will setup a slack so we can have a more organized group.
