Good Altcoin for longterm investment

Good choice in my opinion. And i would add Waves, Ardor, Neo (don't forget it) and some more speculative coins like OCL, OAX or Eidoo.
Some people say 15-20 coins in a portfolio is the best way and i agree.

There couple of good ones for long term. First things come to my mind are waves ark and monero. I have high hopes about these ones. Hope they don't fail me.

So many choices actually but only a few have proved theirselves to be worth it and has potential. Eth, ark, ltc, ripple, and avt are some of the altcoins that are good for long term investment. Though they only have minute increases in its value but it is constantly rising and would definitely give you some profits over the years.

I think only big coins like bitcoin, ETH, LCT that will last for a long time, altcoin others will fall in price in the long term, so if you want long-term investment just invest in btc

Eth is good for long-term investment. Now the price is stable but in future surely it will reach and play a very big role in the coin market. Next to bitcoin Eth is in second place. So defenitely it will shine.

I really think that if you're looking for altcoins that are good to hold for a long time, you should just invest on altcoins with good potentials and that are created a long time ago such as: ethereum, waves, monero and a lot more. There's a lot of ICOs each day and some of them are just bubbles that are pumped and dumped. If you want altcoins worth keeping for a long time, just stick with altcoins that have been there same when bitcoin started.

Monero for anonymous coin option.
Neo and Ethereum together for smart contracts. Add Pivx and Waves, too.
Bitcoin is indispensable. Litecoin is overvalued now, you can buy when it's cheap.

I recommend you to invest in NEO, ENJIN , VIBERATE, CINDICATOR.. cuz they are extremly turning point on long term holding and it is worth to trust, no matter if there are few falls. If you are playing on long term, start reading about their future.

For a longterm investment, I'll choose by order:
- ETH
- OMG (I don't know why nobody choose it)
- NEO
- MOD isn't a wrong bet I guess, but a little more risky (in an other aspect, mod is pretty cheap actually)

Invest your money on a good blockchain/platform or Privacy coin that will help you to growyour money. i guess XVG(verge) cheap price with a high potential coin in the future. devs are working on it. i like Xem also one of the best coins so far, Catapult is what i'm waiting for billion supply but definitely an awesome coin along with Waves Platform.
