They are doing corruption when they are into fiat money and these corrupt people are doing it wherever they want.
So I'm pretty sure that bitcoin can also lead to corruption but only for those people that wants to use this medium for their bad plan.
They can be more corrupt people in bitcoin because they can't be track down by the authorities and they can whatever they want like illegal stuffs because bitcoin is anonymous and that is what they like to do illegal things by being anonymous. So there is no doubt that bitcoin will become a gateway for the bad people to be more corrupt than before. When the authorities you mentioned just bought bitcoin, they'll be sure giving their address and sending it somewhere, but it's still can be traced, bitcoin is basically pseudo-anonymous that's mean it's not totally anonymous, it can be traced. Actually, in my opinion, the corruption can be annihilated by using bitcoin and giving out the transparency towards citizens by showing off the address and its function to whether buying to pay the expenses of a project and much more, once the money is moved out, people could easily figure it out. |

You should understand that once you make an on-chain Bitcoin transaction (and it gets confirmed), it is forever written on the blockchain. Bitcoin is called pseudoanonymous for viable reasons. It is anonymous for ordinary people but special services can still track down single transactions to individuals creating them. If the politicians enters in the world of bitcoin, I think there is a chances that bitcoin can lead to corruption. Even there's a chance the corruption of bitcoin, it will never be happen anymore because developer would not want it to happen because they know that bitcoin corruption can lead the bitcoiners to quit using bitcoin.

Certainly yes. As far as it is money related, expect the corruption. Corryption is is being made by powerful official/developers. However, as far as I see how bitcoin runs, corruption isn't on their mind already perhaps. |

In bitcoin platform, corruption isn't necessary since it's decentralized and government has not control to it. For the developers, they can be corrupt but it's less likely to happen since they wouldn't do things that can affect them negatively.

thats right, bitcoin is a tools for us and a way for us to make money and its depend with that person, if he want to use bitcoin for bad things, then bitcoin will be bad in the end. maybe is not bitcoin that can not lead to corruption but the money that behind all of the corruption. because if we see in many country, many people in the government is trying to get money by corrupted and if they got that money, they can exchange that money into bitcoin and they can use many ways to gets bitcoin and no one will know. |

Bitcoin can't lead to corruption because bitcoin is decentralized and it can't be controlled by anyone, the bitcoin is known for being decentralized and if bitcoin lead to corruption then it means that it already broke its features and it will be a huge effect for the price and it will go down.
The OP is not talking about corruption in Bitcoin. He is talking about the features of Bitcoin helping corrupt people. While that is a concern, we should not be blaming the tools for the action of men. Do you mean to say that ultimate authority leads to ultimate corruption. Actually we have the experience to see the corrupt people that are the corrupt characters. Also we see that there are more people against corruption. All the transactions on bitcoin can be tracked, so bitcoin could help to track all of those transactions and that could lead to arrest of politicians, but make no mistake the corruption comes from the people and not from the tools they use. |

Why not. Bitcoin is also a currency and you can buy any stuff with it. Corruption comes when something is easy to store and without any limits. Moreover bitcoin is easy to save so people can store black money on online accounts without any identification, that is a corruption!! Likewise I believe many kinds of corruption can happen in the world of bitcoin.
