Whatever delusions help you sleep at night kiddo.

Blockstream must really care about you. /s

Who cares about EC, it's just one of the many proposals.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Well, obviously he's FUDing. First time he twitted implying he was going to withdraw the segwit support. But he shorted before that message for profit, proof https://twitter.com/f2pool_wangchun/status/852510528664621056

Now he's trying to accumulate more LTC at a lower price, therefore he's FUDing again.

Those guys can't even write proper english, and they think they have enough understanding of coding and so on to defy the opinion of 100% of experts in the field. Looks like common sense doesn't add up. He is just testing his twitter-influence over price again. Miners are really good for nothing goons.

And you can't even do basic maths.
100% of experts in the field?
SegWit has even less support than BU on the only number that matters, hash rate:
Bitcoin Unlimited blocks: 362  ( 36.2% )
SegWit blocks: 278  ( 27.8% )

In pure tech, here is one expert's opinion on why SegWit is total garbage:
'Segregated Witness is the most radical and irresponsible protocol upgrade Bitcoin has faced in its eight year history':
https://medium.com/the-publius-letters/segregated-witness-a-fork-too-far-87d6e57a4179

13 links on why SegWit is just sub par:
https://medium.com/@SegWit/segwit-resources-6b7432b42b1e

In features, FlexTrans is superior to SegWit in every way.

Segwit, rejected by who? A couple of chinese miners. Literally.

The rest are in with segwit:

The market has spoken. Segwit goes up = price goes up.
The fact has changed, To complete my curiosity.

Why were we need UASF if the majority of nodes are supporting it?
The miners have played the consensus. What the fuck is that?
Anti-segwit, pro-BUcoin supporters are now officially fighting against reality. We didn't sign up for JihanCoin.
I'm not a part of that shit.  Grin

That link is reflecting Jihancoin.

F2pool's been advertising a bit 3 soft fork flag which isn't recognised by any BIP, and have had EXTBLK in their coinbase after their initial april fool's coinbase joke. Presumably this post of his: "Despite community divide, R&D effort in past yrs on scaling mustn't be ignored. Now we've more knowledge how to do it effectively&securely." is referring to extension blocks.

What would you expect from people that are being bought and paid for by their king and savior Daddy Ver? I wouldn't think he'd be finding people that are actually qualified, those types of people can't be fully bought and paid for.

God, I guess if I'm just being paid tons and tons of money from Ver I'd be making such retarded claims and even take a hit on reputation for a while until they can all get enough support to push their BU G Coin bullshit down our throats.

Fuck a Ver, Fuck a BU,

LONG LIVE SEGWIT, JOIN ON THE TRAIN MINERS!

Gosh if miners cared more about Bitcoin surviving they'd know Segwit it the place to go.

Ergh.

The fact that BU and ASICBOOST are shit, does not automatically mean that Segwit is good.

Wish they would just fix the bugs and do 2MB blocks for now...Let's see how LTChikun deals with Segwit for a year or so.  Shocked

extension blocks looking better every day  Kiss

For me, it looks like F2Pool is trying to win time until another significant move in the blocksize debate happens (UASF, or a possibility of some kind of "Flippening" that puts in danger their business model).

It looks like they are totally OK with the actual situation (relatively full blocks, high fees) and want to extend it until there is absolutely no way to not support one of the antagonic factions. If that is true, they can safely signal support for extension blocks because this proposal is not backed by other of the larger mining pools. Maybe they are even truely OK with extension blocks, but for now perhaps that doesn't matter, it may be simply part of their strategy to conserve status quo.

to me, the only reason to make such a tweet (very similar to what he did with litecoin) is to manipulate the price. i wouldn't even be surprised to find out there was more to it that we know, such as him being paid by some market makers to cause some volatility this way (same way he did with litecoin).

If you state that DDoS is your greatest weakness, you can expect to be attacked regardless of what or who you are supporting.

For me, it looks like F2Pool is trying to win time until another significant move in the blocksize debate happens (UASF, or a possibility of some kind of "Flippening" that puts in danger their business model).
There is no such thing as the "Flippening". That's a term made up by the r/btc sub and their fanatics. It is very clear that they support shady altcoins.

Can Jihan Wu be trusted?? The answer is clearly NO!
Correct.

feels like the lies are crumbling... we are close to winning.
There is no "we" and there is no "winning". All you can do is fork into the BTU altcoin that may get listed on some exchanges. The positive outcome here is that Segwit would activate on the real BTC chain.

I'm not really inclined to believe a word that comes out of his tweets going by his track record. The longer it drags on the more locked in some type of user inspired fork becomes.
