Change is constant. And so future is undetermined. We cannot really attest the probability where alternative coins or tokens can really overcome bitcoin through when it terms of value. Yet I do still believe Bitcoin will be the most costly and expensive coin due to the law of first. Its the first cryptocurrency and first also in the market.

I think the bitcoin need sometime to start growth and if the big economies allow bitcoin openly in their countries then the big investors will also try to make some investment to this side and they will give much importance now they are ready but they scare of the bitcoin existence and the strict regulations which many countries imposed on bitcoin but i hope that some countries will allow bitcoin for new businesses and the European business may also expands due to this decision.

Possible they can increased there value and become popular but they cannot beat bitcoin because it is the king of all coin. Maybe the altcoin Ethereum have chance to be like in bitcoin and become top to all altcoin, but the important things is there are not scam. there are only competitive to each other and every coins are want to be known and become popular. Also some of altcoin have potential, so possible they can beat the value of bitcoin if the bitcoin is in the slow growth but its not.

I definitely think so, many technical improvements which are not easy to implement on bitcoin,it's hard to reach consensus.

Chances is always there for altcoin to surpass bitcoin anytime soon but it would really depend on people if they would switch or just stay on the origin of crpytocurrencies. We do know bitcoin is the king of all crypto and its really hard for it to be replaced specially now it already gaining popularity and publicity worldwide even though there are circumstances that would be a big hindrance on its development but still there are supporters on using it on daily basis.

As of the moment, it is still not forseen. On a simple individual's perspective, talking about usage of money is always possible. The emerging altcoins advertised through differenct ICOs are always enticing at first. It is through us good investors that we can get an opportunity to take advantage its growth. In my own opinion it is highly possible that these new altcoins will become bigger that bitcoin. Thanks.

Don't know why but it seems that some people would like to see bitcoin being replaced by some other coin. To my opinion this is not going to happen. Despite some good altcoins on the market I don't see any who could take this place. Diversity on the market and variety of altcoins is good, especialy for investors but bitcoin will remain at number one place.

My own opinion is that altcoins will replace bitcoin on the user level. However I think they will never reach its ultimate value. Eventually, after may years bitcoin will end up being some sort of high value collectible, or store of value.

Actually and honestly speaking, LTC isn't much of a challenge at all right now, DOGE is promising but it doesn't offer anything different from BTC so I don't see it actually taking it's place, ETH is the biggest challenger IMO, if it does stop having regular exploits.
MONERO is a good growing challenger and even getting some blackmarket's attention too, However I don't see any of them completely taking out bitcoins. Update now i think DGD and STORM can do that  Grin
Very good you have really explain every altcoin in a very good way, but still i do not think that any of those currency can compete with bitcoin, bitcoin is the still the leading crypto currency and will remain as number one for a long long time, in fact still bitcoin still is the main currency for the people to be use for shopping and also the best choice for trading and investment.

There are some altcoins which have chances to success and to become more used and more valuable. But still the number of this promising altcoins is limited, because the most part of altcoins are shitcoins or having very low value and that's not motivating people to trade them.

I think that when cryptocurrencies would be implemented into the world economy and number of transactions will rise with higher temps bitcoin will not stand the load and money will flow into the altcoins.

I really doubt whether Bitcoin will ever be used as a store of value. An asset as volatile as Bitcoin can never be used to store the wealth. Stable assets such as bullion and treasury bonds are more suitable for this purpose.

I am sure that all altcoins has no chance against bitcoin and i am also sure that in the future people is we will still choose to invest there money on the best cryptocurrency and for me the future of bitcoin is we will be very bright compare to altcoins, we all know that there are so many altcoins that has no future so there is no doubt bitcoin is we will remain as the best.

This is a community. Altcoins does not mean they're trying to take bitcoin down. I don't understand why we always try to see bitcoins and altcoins as enemies.

I do not think there will be any altcoin able to beat the Bitcoin price, although there are some Altcoins that have good prices like Ethereum and BCH. but in my opinion, it will be very long time and it takes a heavy struggle for this Altcoin to be able to beat the price of Bitcoin.

There are many altcoins that were launched after bitcoin, and most of them are successfully increasing. For me, there are some altcoins that might beat the bitcoins success. Altcoins may actually be the future of cryptocurrencies rather than Bitcoin for various reasons including transaction speed and fees. As Bitcoin is priced really high, entry is hard for those new to cryptocurrencies, and altcoins are much cheaper alternatives.

The dominance of bitcoin is currently very strong, marketcap reaches more than 44% and bitcoin becomes the standard price of all coins so I find it very difficult to replace bitcoin in a short time, it takes at least 10 years from now.

Some altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero do have a chance against bitcoin.
Ethereum is much more widely accepted than bitcoin and it also acts as a token for smart applications which bitcoin does not.
Litecoin, with its blockchain of 2.5 minutes provides speedy transactions upto 4 times than bitcoin. Also it is present much more in no. rather than bitcoin's limited 21 million.
Monero provides complete anonymity in its transactions rather than pseudoanonymous nature of bitcoin. Hence the transactions are much more secure.
Hence, these coins do have the potential to compete against the crypto.

Ethereum has a chances against bitcoin in the future because ethereum network is very popular now and most commonly used by ICOs for their smart contract than using bitcoin and also the ethereum value still increasing.
