Pretty crazy to see Messi leave Barcelona.  I have quite a few buddies who are Barcelona fans, and they of course are none to pleased with what transpired with that whole thing.  I am also just referring to people whom are in the United States, I can't imagine being a lifelong Barcelona fan who lives in Spain..this must be absolutely heartbreaking.  I'm curious to ask for you Euros who follow the sport very closely, where do you guys put Messi in term of the all time greats?

Disappointed when Messi left Barcelona and play for PSG because I am Real Madrid fans need haters for my club and always debate both Barcelona or Real Madrid get bad result, but now the popularity or Barcelona fans have move and change their club to be PSG fans and not any interested yet to debate.

I understand what you said but I was expecting the Real Madrid fans to be happy about the exit of Messi since he posed the major threat to Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, etc and I am a lot of Real Madrid fans won't support what you said about not being happy of Messi leaving Barcelona.
The best thing Barcelona can do now is to find a player that will perform well in the postion left by Messi.

There are no and will be no players like Messi. At best, a few decades. I don't think RM fans are so happy with the player's departure from Barcelona, because mostly over the past few seasons he has been characterised by goals against weak teams (hatafi, betis...). In El classico, Ronaldo and Messi weren't very productive, but it was always interesting to follow the game..

I know there's no football player like Messi because every player is unique in their own way but at least Barcelona needs to find a player that will still handle his position at an average level.

According to AS, PSG are looking for signing Juventus centre-forward Cristiano Ronaldo next summer. Because Mbappe can be signed by Real Madrid for free in the next summer. Mbappe has been thinking of leaving the team so he doesn't intend to extend his contract anymore. Maybe Messi transfer can effect his decision but I'm not sure about it.

I can't imagine if this actually happened. and if this happens it looks like PSG has become a dreamteam which is filled with talented players.
but i think a little about the condition of other players if messi and ronaldo are in the same team because we know that the salaries of these two players are above the average player and indirectly if Ronaldo really moves to PSG it will also at least sacrifice other players to balance PSG's finances

Fact) I wonder now how the PSG and Barcelona will prove themselves this season. And not just me, most will keep an eye on them. PSG has a real chance of a Champions League, the Barcelona seems likely to make every effort to stay top or at least close to the top, and next year it is likely to be seriously strengthened in offence. I don't think Barcelona has much chance of anything this season. They still have to rebuild the game and learn to play without Messi)

It is rumoured that Philippe Coutinho may return to Liverpool from Barcelona after 3 years. He was transferred by Barcelona for a price around €135m. And Liverpool got him from Inter for only €13m long time ago. They made a lot of profit that's for sure. Now, Coutinho's market value is €30m so he wouldn't cost too much to Liverpool if they buy him back.

Good to hear that Real Madrid wants to sign an experienced centre back. I expect that Real Madrid can be more serious to build their defense line, especially for centre back position. This season, Real Madrid lost their two main centre backs, Ramos & Varane. Sadly, the remaining centre back looks not strong enough to compete with big teams. I only see David Alaba who can be strong enough but ideally he isn't in centre back position.

Well, I don't know what Real Madrid plans for their defense line, but waiting till Rudiger contract expires may be too late if they still want a trophy this season.

Today after Çaykur Rizespor game Beşiktaş manager Sergen Yalçın told press that they are ready to sign Michy Batshuayi this week. After that Georges-Kevin NKoudou tweeted that he will make a facetime call with Batshuayi. Beşiktaş finally found the striker they need. There were speculations about Diego Costa, Edin Džeko, Luuk de Jong etc. but it looks like Batshuayi is the final choice. Chelsea is ready to loan him out after they re-sign him. It will be great addition to Beşiktaş squad. I think player will fit well to this club and have a good performance in Champions League arena.

It seems like Real Madrid are prepared to sell their 22-year-old attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard. They actually weren't leaning towards it as Toni Kroos has got injured and will not be back before October. Arsenal are interested in Odegaard to sign him now. He has a market value of €40m. Why is this bad for the sport? The purchase was not for a big amount of money and all the big teams would have been able to pay the amount Manchester United paid. Haha, the aged Ronaldo and Messi are on the same team - it would be interesting to see, as far as I know, despite the war between their fans, they have a great relationship with each other.

Raphael Varane has officially joined Manchester United for €40m + €10m possible add-ons. It was not certain that Manchester United were going to sign him this summer.
