I agree that Benzema extending his contract for one more year is a good deal for both parties, because you do not fire a player just one year after he won the ballon d'or, that would be too heartless but lets realize the fact that he hasn't been amazing like last year this season, he has been injured all year and I believe that there should be something that could be a bit of a problem for them in the end.

If he keeps like this next season as well, that would be two seasons of mostly injured striker and they will need someone to replace him, next season they will start to look for someone else if this repeats again, if not and he plays well again then maybe he will continue.

I can't judge whether his game is still worthy of being in Europe or not, because he rarely gets the chance to play. In La Liga he has only played 3 times out of 25 matches that have been completed by Real Madrid. so with the lack of minutes played I can't conclude how his condition was when he was on the field and judging only in 3 matches. It sadden me that Mason mount would be departing Chelsea this season, I always thought he was going to be the next big name at Chelsea considering he was home grown. As it stands now, mason mount has gotten a new agent and the same agent is incharge of Virgil and Henderson. Which only means one thing, Mason mount is looking to sign for Liverpool. Is he thinking he'll achieve same success Mo Salah did when he left Chelsea and now playing in Liverpool. I see lots of talent in Mason mount and do believe he'll achieve lots of great things in football but I wanted that to be at Chelsea and won't be happy if he does leave the club and achieved those things at another club.

I saw Mason Mount as the next potential captain of Chelsea as he is among one of the longest players to be playing for the club in the new era considering all those we recently bought this season been in the first team and when the likes of Tiago silver and César Azpilicueta retires from the club, Mason mount could have stepped up to the task. He is currently the second oldest player after Modric but indeed the decision to extend the contract by 1 season is a good thing even though he will eventually leave just as it has happened to other players.

Chelsea is a big club and they're capable of meeting up the salary of their players as long as it doesn't surpassed their wages budgets for the club. Mason Mount have lose form due to critical injury. Graham Potter barely used him in league games and Chelsea are not giving greenlight to increase his contract. The Englishman have been a key project for the blues under frank lampard, Thomas Tuchel, but for Potter, it seems not to be working. Every coach have their personal game pattern, so we'll not blamed Mount for his poor performance.

Erik ten Hag has made a big impact on Manchester United since the day he arrived at the team. His first times weren't very well to be honest and people were still doubting the future of this team. But the only thing Erik ten Hag needed was time. After some time passed he started to adapt to the players and the league both. This has resulted in a great climb in the Premier League.

They even looked like they could have joined the title race but they aren't now. Still this is a really impressive development and I think the board also should be contented with this performance.
