Now I can understand for footballers to return to their home country when they are closest to quitting football.  They played away from their country for years and missed their country very much.  Before leaving football, they may want to go to a team of their country for a few years and breathe that atmosphere again.  Marcelo's decision should be exactly like this.  Al Nassr wanted to sign him and he could go to that team and make good money.

With his condition that he didn't have a club at that time receiving offers from any club would definitely be his priority no longer choosing which one would make a good offer, and Al Nassr wanted it to be just a rumor and Fluminese were serious about making an offer and he accepted it and with his age the option would be very limited is not the same as when young.

It won't be a bad thing for both Giroud and Milan to part ways. Things come to an end. If Giroud wants to play football somewhere else then it's fine. He's already used to the EPL so it won't be a very difficult situation for him.

If Giroud wants to return to an EPL club I think that's good enough, but the level of competitiveness in the EPL is so high, I doubt that Giroud will be able to compete with the younger players. Even if he rejects the offer of a contract extension, I think he'd better go to another club in Serie A because there will definitely be other clubs who want to sign him in the summer.

I think you mean they are going to fire Potter before the season ends. We know the performance of Chelsea is not good at all and they are in the middle of the table and probably they won't be even in the Europa league but still even if they fire Potter before the season end the new coach won't have enough time to do something show better performance with this team.

All of that backfired for Chelsea to let Potter go and replace him with a new coach, that doesn't mean that all of this is a guarantee that Chelsea can complete their duties in the Premier League. I absolutely agree with @Mimiklinton because Graham Potter is not going to be able to actually bring good results with Chelsea. Doesn't matter how many great players are in the squad. And we all know that the squad of Chelsea is not bad at all. So if at this moment Zidane comes as the coach of Chelsea it is going to be very good for them and also a morale boosting move for the players as well.

Actually, another thought came into my mind. What if Zidane does not like this squad? What if he wants to make more big changes if he wants to come on as the coach? No one plans to fire the potter that Ben Jacobs said and obviously this will be maintained to continue his project with Potter this season.

Oliver Giroud is a player that in terms of performance doesn't hide in whichever team that he finds himself, Since he was moved from Chelsea to AC Milan, he's contribution to the team is clearly seen, basically he's goal scoring ability. Liverpool have very obvious midfield problems but despite this they have been very slow in the winter transfer window. I really wouldn't want to be in Klopp's shoes. They're acting like they're trying to make Klopp helpless right now. Even Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham may not be enough. I think they need to catch up with the competition and they need to sign a few more quality midfielders to achieve that.

Olivier Giroud is an old player who would not be given more attention by big teams right now. Those clubs bidding for him are the best fit for him because he will get more playing time with them than with bigger clubs. He's an experienced player who will add more value to any team he joins later.

If a team is stablized almost every coach can take the team to victory.  The problem of Chelsea is not the coach, it is the inconsistencies of the players . After the rebuilt thay Chelsea is doing, by next season they will do very well even with Poter if he's gonna remain as the head coach.

Why would anyone spend 500+ million on transfers and hire a manager that never managed a top club before, that part has always confused me a lot. Did the owner and the manager knew each other beforehand? Do we have any news about that at all?

I mean that never made sense to me, if you are spending that much, then you can also pay a bit more and get a top manger, not saying you should get Klopp or Pep, because Klopp would be hard to get and looks to be doing bad anyway, and Pep would be impossible to convince, but at the very least get someone who has managed a big club before.
