I do not like it when ex players become head coaches this quickly, they need to spend a lot more time at the trainer place before they could actually lead a team as big as Chelsea. Look at Mourinho, he wasn't even a proper player at all and spend a lot of time learning to be a good trainer.

There are plenty of examples of ex players that became good head coaches but most of them spend a bit of time away and on youth teams before they took up head coaching in a big club. Lampard is a good smart person who would be a good head coach one day but I still think that it needs to take some time. Sure he is there now already so it is too late to tell him to go back on the youth part but at least give him like 2-3 seasons before you start to expect something major from him like a championship or European success.

Lampard is a good coach already. His one season experience with Derby County which their 40% win percentage at that time is good enough and proves he is capable to handle bigger team. The issue of hiring young coach is the bad relationship that might happen with senior players. But since Lampard is the Chelsea legend himself, everyone respects him there. That's why it's not really a problem to hire young coach as long as he is the club's legend.

How trustworth is this source? Last time I heard about this possible transfer Lampard said that no bids were made for Havertz (Link). But that news is already from a couple of days ago.

If Chelsea also signs Havertz after they got Ziyech and Werner, that's gonna be a stong signal to Liverpool and ManCity to watch out for them next season. Together with Pulisic and Abraham their offense would be amazing. Always nice when the title fight gets more exciting, I don't need such an early decision like this season.

It can be only a financial move but is good only for Juventus in that case.
He has a 5 years contract and he has been paid 70 milions so.

The yearly cost is 70/5=14milions

So if he fails in 2 years Juventus need to sell a 25 yo player who played on Juve and Barca for 70-14*2= 42m to be even for the balance, I think it is not hard to do so.
Barcelona however in 2 years needs to sell a 32 yo player at 36m € if the will fail.

Ok, Juventus have good economists which know his job, but hey! who is in charge of transfers in Barcelona? Messi's son? I think a child 10 years old would make better arrangements.
After Suarez move from Liverpool, I can't think of a good transfer which makes a difference on the pitch to them even today.

I also have recently started following him but others claim that he is a good source and confirms through multiple sources before posting. Let's see for now.

BTW two big transfers:

1) Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid (right now on loan in Dortmund) moved to Inter Milan and signed a contract for 5 years until June 2025. Real Madrid is getting 50 million euros in total.

Barcelona's board has been very poor in their transfer business over the past 3-4 years and it's getting worse. Losing promising talents like; Takefusa Kubo, Mateu Morey and Xavi Simon's while making impractical buys at bogus prices to try and patch up the club (Countinho, Malcom, Dembele, Turan etc).
The effort is obviously geared at getting immediate success rather than grooming a team that can cope after the end of the golden era. The Pjanic-Authur deal is another class example of this. It's unclear who is requesting the transfers as the team seems not to be following the managers desires.

This move has been coming for months hasn’t it. He’s a really good player but returning from a very serious knee injury. I hope he can display the same form as pre injury.
