I don't think Musiala will go to Barcelona because Barcelona is in a critical period financially right now. They can't afford the transfer fee they will pay him, and the player has receivables. Considering the contract and bonus clauses, they can't afford the large salary they will give him. I think he should continue his career with Bayern Munich. Barcelona may not be the right decision for him, as I said, Barça doesn't have the money to buy him anyway.

All these contract extensions has to do something with them trying to align with the financial fair play rules. The longer the contract, the more broad the paying structure is, or something similar. But all these 7/8/9 year-long contracts don't really make sense to me, because what's the point really?

Nicholas Jackson may well have been a decent striker for Chelsea, but he ain't no Drogba or Torres that the Chelsea management will give him a contract till 2033, or is he? because I don't think he is and he does not deserve a nine-year contract in my opinion. If we look at his market value, it is still €100m. But it is very possible that Napoli decrease the transfer fess around €63m because no many teams are still interested to sign Osimhen.
