Napoli want Alex Meret to extend his contract because they consider him as an important goalkeeper, but this reminds me of Osimhen situation last season where Napoli also said the same thing but how did it end? for now there is no interest from any club interested in Alex Meret plus he still wants to be with Napoli. One thing I am worried about is Napoli management can change their mind anytime and Conte can easily play any player to be dropped from the main squad.

I agree with you. Napoli wants Alex Meret to stay but I am not sure they mean it. Last season they said same thing about Osimhen and look what happened.
Right now no other teams want Meret and he wants to stay at Napoli. But I worry that Napoli management might change their minds suddenly.
New coach Antonio Conte is known for making tough decisions. If Meret does not fit his plans Conte can not hesitate to bench or transfer him.
Napoli should be honest and clear when negotiating Meret contract. Meret deserves to know where he stands. Only time will tell if Napoli truly wants Meret or if this is just temporary promise.

We have the same thoughts about the sweet words coming out of Napoli, whether it's a coincidence or Napoli can't be trusted with their words. Imao if there are big European clubs who are very interested in buying Alex Meret, my advice is that it is a more reasonable choice to take. In football sometimes players have to challenge themselves with new and different situations. Whether his career will be much better or not in the future depends on his determination and interest to develop better at his new club. I would like Alex Meret not to be quick to renew the contract offered by Napoli.

I also think Meret should not accept the contract right away. Because they sent away Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker who made the biggest contribution to the championship. I don't think Musiala will go to Barcelona because Barcelona is in a critical period financially right now. They can't afford the transfer fee they will pay him, and the player has receivables. Considering the contract and bonus clauses, they can't afford the large salary they will give him. I think he should continue his career with Bayern Munich. Barcelona may not be the right decision for him, as I said, Barça doesn't have the money to buy him anyway.

Exactly I was also thinking that Jamal Musiala wouldn't have to go to Barcelona. Apparently Barcelona administration has already finished with finical criticism while Jamal Musiala is $110 million+ in value which is too big for Barcelona to pay for him. Barcelona have extreme finical criticism they don't have much more money for such kinds of players. Firstly they didn't have any place for Jamal Musiala to play him on the starting sheet because they have a lot of players in a squad. Investment wise Chelsea benefit from that guy because they had Musiala as free agent and never used him and yet they sold him well for 200k and yet Bayern see him like something they need even though when his injuries were mid and short term recovery until 2 years later they later gave him a good chance and his representing the club well. Considering his age, he will stay back as long as Bayern is ready to make use of him, anything outside here might not look juicy but he need to step up his game.

If Liverpool get him good for him but that club sometimes is shit show, they have this habit of signing up a player only to be dumpnon bench pending till there is a substitution need or an injured player. Musiala is having a good time in Bayern. If he is not sure about the terms for playing, he better stay in Bayern and enjoy his life. However, maybe Liverpool will not exhibit such behaviors again since it does happened during the time of Klopp.

Arsenal didn't pursue the player seriously so they failed to get the player and I also see that Arsenal are trying to maximize the players they have.
There is no player that Arsenal have really seriously approached and maybe you are right as you say because Arsenal are not in a position to pursue any player and they have a much more potential squad now.
Chelsea have tried to make an approach and maybe the chances are much bigger and from what we see Chelsea are much more likely because they have the money to make the purchase.

The Al Nasser management team took a right decision by the sacking of their head coach,Luis Castro. We all saw how Al Nassr flopped last season, even when they had the opportunity to have become the Saudi pro league champions last season, And so far, the result isn't still not very interesting, So there was a need to take this drastic action they took, to prevent the club from falling apart, as currently they have played three (3) games, and occupying the seventh (7) position in their league table with a total of 5 points very far from where they're supposed to be found in the league table.
