Since they had bud luck with Sane obviously Perisic is now good plan B candidate and can help Bayern.

Bayern are in a bit of a transitional stage atm, a lot of their best players are old & past their peak. They’ll still do well in Germany because the other teams apart from Dortmund are much lower quality but they will struggle in the CL.

Bayern will be back, they’re too big not to be but I don’t think they’ll go far in the CL.

I agree. Bayern has made its cycle with the current players.
If they need to target high goals such as Champions League they need to sign new talents for their first team.
Also some experienced players would be vital. Bale would be a good addition but this transfer is only in rumors stage.

Spot on. It will be a huge loss if they sell Pogba, especially with Lukaku already gone.

They'll need Pogba if they want to stay competitive and get a Champions League spot for next year. It would be a blunder if they weaken their attacking power after they tried to fix their defensive side.

I'll be expecting Valverde to deploy a 4-2-1-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation, but either ways, I think Barcelona possession game could reduce a bit, and it's probably going to be a more attack-minded approach.

Never look at Bookmakers odds.

Never.

The odds are based on bets from people, the value is adjusted on the volume of bets on one bet to permit the booke to pay players.

For example on the Guardiola Saga at Juventus here in Italy we had one week with Guardiola at 1.1 and the following with Sarri at 1.1 even one week with Mou near 1.5.

It only depends where people bet, the more they bet on one side (cause they listen to rumors) more the bet will go down.

We have 2 lines of thinking here.

1 They can still have Pogba (or Neymar) if they can sell Dybala for cash to PSG or other.

From Dybala they can get 70M, they also want to sell Matuidi to PSG for 15-20m. They "only" need to add 50M€ to be even on the market.

(idk how others team can spend how much they want without the financial fairplay, it seems to be active only in Italy, Barca is at -100M for now and RMadrid at -188)

2 The market for Juventus for new players is over, we got an "insider rumor today" where ManU is very pissed with Juventus and Raiola for the tentative of a deal for Pogba, they are pissed for the Lukaku-Dybala thing and for the missed deal with Mandzukic.
For Mandzukic was done in the evening for around 15M €, the following morning Mario called them and said No Thankyou.

For these reasons, they seem unlikely open to selling Pogba at Juventus.


Beside the point 2, we have other rumors for Real Madrid here in Italy.
They can maybe offer 160M € for Pogba.

Well, this can mean only 1 thing, they call themselves out from Neymar (I think they cannot take both of them).


My personal thought about Pogba.

He wants Juventus, he wants to leave from ManU but I'm not sure if Juventus can pay the operation, they can but they need to sell before.

He is doing on Instagram the same (reversed) things he was doing when he was on Juventus before leaving for Manchester.
Back in days, he started posting photo stories and videos about him wearing rec cloths, now look at his Instagram and he is doing the same thing posting white an black things.

If Pogba will come to Juventus they need to sell Pjanic ~70m or EmreCan ~50m.

That's the beauty of 4-2-3-1 IMO, despite imposing more defensive responsibilities on the team generally, 2 players in defensive midfield position would likely cover up the tracks, Busquet and De Jong would do, the only vulnerability I see is that the 3 Attacking Midfielders would have more work load as well and the striker could get isolated upfront more often than not.

That is a good formation but I don't see it working with this Barcelona line up. At least 2 from 3 attacking midfielders have to help in defensive phase and I believe only Griezman would do that. In modern football I don't think any team or formation can cover up for more than 2 players. Add to that the fact that Alba will also be in the opponents half all the time and you have a problem. Barca needs that left attacking mid/winger, position which would probably fall to Neymar to cover for Alba and that will simply not happen.

This is a false statement.

In Italy, we have a new law for workers from other countries, where they need to pay taxes only on 50% of the salary.

For a faster understanding

Pogba now takes € 17.071.600,00, if Juventus wants to pay him the same amount he will cost "only" 17+25%(17)= 21.25m with taxes (same as DeLigt 12+25%(12)=16)

Dybala for example now takes 7.5m with the full taxes, that's mean 7.5+7=14.5 with taxes, not os big difference.

Again the problem is to sell other players before trying to take him.
