It seems that Barcelona are preparing to follow Bayern Munich strategy by going for an initial loan deal for Neymar with an option to buy the following year, With Neymar's buyout clause supposed to be €170M after his first three seasons at PSG, it seems that's what Barcelona are going to pay for the renowned forward.

I wonder how Barca will going to 'survive' after Messi and the rest of La Masia generation stop playing football. Will they continue to buy an expensive player just to see how they failed in Barca?

Barca should try to do what they did a few years back. Focus on youth education like Ajax and produce high-quality players by themselves instead of looking on the market and spending millions.

The problem is from the board. Bartemou is trying hard to take the pressure of himself by investing in big money transfers and hoping it comes with successes. He doesn't want to take a gamble with youth.
Ernesto Valverde is also not the right coach to take Barcelona back to the top. He was renowed for building young talents in Athletic Bilbao, but we've seen none of that affect Barcelona nor good, quality football.

I really don’t think that Real made good decision with Ronaldo.
Together with Messi he is the best player in the world.
It's obvious that nobody can replace him and Real really suffered without him.
Now they have Hazard,  maybe they will bring Neymar this month or Pogba next year but still they will realize that they don't have "key factor " for success,  Ronaldo.
Ronaldo can still be top player next 2-3 years.
Even Zidane can't help much here and will probably give up again,  very soon.

The first few years after an integral member of the team leaves, it's going to be very hard for the team but with some great acquisitions, things will gradually get back in place and i believe that with the purchase of Hazard, Real Madrid have made a great effort in dealing with the loss of Ronaldo but i shudder to think of what will happen once Messi retires or moves away from Barcelona.

If Neymar doesn't get a transfer in this window this is going to ruin his career.
PSG fans don't want them in the team and he will have problems to Paris, as he disrespected Paris Saint Germain. It would be awful to wait for 1 year or half to move on another club.

I don't deny that Neymar is  an excellent player, but he is also diver and primadonna, and somehow  for me he doesnt fit in the hardworking Juve and Serie A.I liked Juve since the 90s due that, and loyalty of their best players, and Neymar doesn't  fit in that picture.I sure hope they wont go for that tiki tika playstyle, that wouldnt be Juve i liked to watch for the last 20+ years.

There was one diver in Juve  that i loved tho, but he was doing it with class, great Pippo Inzaghi

Barcelona are in dire need of a left back to compete with Jordi Alba for his spot and also give him a bit of rest during the season. Except they are lining up a bid for an experienced left back, I don't see any need for such a deal.
I wouldn't say no to Mandzukic tho, he has experience and the team needs a back up striker.

I agree with you on this, I doubt Barcelona will let Miranda leave, as there will be no cover for Jordi Alba.

Mandzukic will only end as another Kevin Prince Boateng, I'd rather have Griezmamn as back up for Suarez that's if the flanks are occupied already, but with Dembèlè proving to be unreliable, numerous back up plans wouldn't be a terrible idea.

I don't think Barca is a good fit for Mandzukic, he is very strong in the air but not the best technically and I don't see Barca changing their game and starting to cross the ball from flanks. But maybe they should consider changing game plan in the games where opposition parks the bus and standard tika taka football isn't enough to break them.

I'd rather have Griezmamn as back up for Suarez that's if the flanks are occupied already, but with Dembèlè proving to be unreliable, numerous back up plans wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Griezmann has a too much quality to be a back up striker. He would have to be featured regularly one way or the other. Valverde has shown interest in 4-4-2 formation, and Griezmann can function behind a centre forward.
Dembele's injury is a big blow, as he is really the only first team player who can use both feets available now in the attack. Barcelona would have a hard time filling up the left flank of the attack.
