The question is what is driving Mbappe at the moment. He doesn't have to do it for the money, at another club he also gets paid a lot. I don't understand why many people here imply that if one club has won the most Champions League titles in its history and has done it several times recently, then it automatically implies that this club will continue to do it at the same pace?! Yes, Real Madrid has won 4 Champions League titles in the last eight years from 2014 to 2018, but at the same time could not have done it before for 12 years from 2002 to 2014. Just mathematically, the chances of winning should already be decreasing. Today I read the news that Haaland has turned down an offer from Manchester City and is waiting for Real Madrid to make a better offer. I don't think Barcelona will try for Mbappe. Many around the world now know Mbappe's commitment to Real Madrid. Mbappe wants to go to Real Madrid. Even if Barcelona wants to step in here, they may not have the economic situation to meet the fee that Mbappe wants. I think different transfers will come from Barcelona. Maybe they can venture for Haaland.
