Well deserved is all i can say, i mean, Phil has been playing some really outstanding football in the past year or so, for a player of his age to show the kind of composure and confidence he displays on the ball week in and out is really a joy to watch and quite rightly it has to reflect in his salary/wages, i really do not think any team would be considering signing Phil, not only does he cost a fortune, but City definitely would not sell him, he their star player for the present as well as the future. I saw about the news but Laporta is not communicating with Messi anymore, can Barcelona do better without Messi now?
