The UEFA Champions League is largely for elite competitive clubs, not struggling clubs that I'm fairly certain will not achieve any significant places. PSG can live without the attacker, even though he has played important roles in the club's development, but it doesn't imply they're no longer capable of competing for titles; they still have a long way to go. Back in the old days, there were a lot talents which can solo carrying their teams, but it's not gonna possible again in modern football where there's a lot strategy to overcome that. I think it's only Mbappe that can do one man show, both Osimhen and Haaland still need a support from their teammates.

Even Mbappe cannot be a one-man show. If his team is plain bad, he won't be able to do much. He's a good player and the best in his team but he needs his teammates to show for him before he can shine. I don't think there's any player currently that can be a one-man show for his team.
Even Drogba was not a one-man army. If the passes didn't come he won't be able to score.

Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar at their peak are the most recent players I could think of that were that good.

Mbappe would fit perfectly into a team with good midfielders. We will see in the winter if he moves to Real Madrid, how good the midfielders are, where he can shine brightly. There are so many rumours going on about Mbappe that it's getting complicated and we don't know what's valid and what's just trying to drive traffic that we don't know what's going to happen next.
IMHO Mbappe leaving is something that will definitely happen because after all he will definitely still leave PSG, it's just that the club he will go to is what makes us confused because we don't even know where he will go even though he is currently always linked with several big clubs like Madrid and several clubs in the EPL but until now there is no clarity about it.

I'm not sure if there will be a mega transfer because most players prefer to wait until the end of the season. I think only average players will move to other teams, they want to move to more potential teams to win the titles. For the players who play with the teams that aren't join UCL, they must be interested to move to the teams that qualify for the next round in UCL.

Sure, UCL is for elite teams, those teams who have good squad depth and quality players. It will be difficult to compete in UCL if a team only has average players, the teams in UCL are strong teams.

Anyway, I think Mbappe will stay in PSG until the end of the season. His contract isn't over in January yet. He will leave after his contract is over with PSG. It will be until the end of the season.

We  all know that Rashford has been and still is an important player for manchester united despite the fact that he's had a slow start this season and he's yet to recover his form, well Erik Ten Hag gave him alot chance to prove himself worthy of being in the starting eleven but he messed up the chances given to him, he couldn't get his head straight and made alot of blunder in his decision making in the final third and he needed to be dropped cause both the fans and managerial team where all tired of his blunders.

So far, I haven't heard any new rumors from Mbappe's statement after he announced his decision to terminate his contract in 2024. however, we don't know anything about what actually happened. it could be, if Mbappe has an unpublished deal. or, he is truly committed to his decision. Only one thing is certain, we will find out after the January transfer window opens. Will PSG still include him on the player sales list, with all the scenarios? Or, PSG will still try to keep him. So far, everything is just assumptions and what we speculate through reported rumors.

From what they are saying, this "trouble" involving Mbappé and Real Madrid promises to have new and important news at the beginning of next year as the Spanish club will make a proposal to the French striker on January 1st, when the Frenchman's contract with the PSG enters the final six months, at which point Mbappé is free to negotiate a pre-agreement with any club he wishes.
However, Mbappé will not have much time to think about what to do, as the Spanish club would only give the player 15 days to respond about his possible transfer in the middle of the year.

I also think they shouldn't part ways with all of these defensive players in January already. I don't have much expectation from Varane from now on. Maguire has even been selected for the Player of the Month prize newly.    It wouldn't be easy to take his usual place in the starting lineup for Varane from now on.

Nothing to happen with him. Mbappe's contract will end next year and we will be knowing what's gonna be his final decision once we will be going to the summer transfer season. Mbappe is going to determine his way once we are coming to the next year.
We are still far away from june. How can we expect to see the decision from mbappe once he was still under contract with PSG? mbappe will never try to leave from the club by himself. His contract must be terminated first. That's quite good to happen.
