Well, it will only be a disaster to players who are already made and have built the reputations for themselves and not looking for avenues to prove themselves to the global football stage,  but for players who are still very young in their career to build a name for themselves,  they will definitely put in all the work to make sure they prove themselves worthy of any chance given to them.

I am afraid that he will become like Kalvin Phillips and not get the chance to perform. I mean they already have Julian Alvarez and Haaland. Alvarez is kind of the backup of Halaand who is actually performing really well as well. If you guys can remember, Kalvin Philips was also signed by Leeds United and he wasn't given many chances. I think Man United won't try to sign Kimmich, they have some strong midfielders. Casemiro, Amrabat, McTominay, and Eriksen. They have enough midfielders, so they probably won't compete for signing Kimmich. Man City that may try to sign a new midfielder, they have lack of quality midfielders. They only have Rodri that can show a stable performance. So, I think Man City and Liverpool which compete for signing Kimmich in the upcoming transfer window.

However, I'm not sure Bayern Munich will sell Kimmich. I think they will extend Kimmich's contract in the next year.

I have also not heard about his name either but seeing him in Argentina's jersey with No. 10 is something to put into consideration because, just as you said, he is a good player at his age, but he will never be a first-team player; he has to wait to adapt to the Premier League and have to wait on the bench.
