I do agree that keeping ETH was a good decision, there is really nothing wrong with that, I am just against them making it quite terrible if they let him pick which players he wants. The problem with ETH is not his tactician talent, he is a great manager when the season starts, but as we have seen before, his list of players he wanted is horrible and he makes the team spend so much money for shitty players that did not help at all, and he wants to be right about the players so he puts them in, making the team worse.

Ronald Araújo is in the top 5 Barcelona players with the highest market value so that is a way that can raise money and Barcelona still has many players in the Centre-Back position at least 4 more players there so it's not a problem to let one of them go, the question is are they willing to pay more for this player? On a good day with what he plays, he is not even good enough to be placed at that valuation honestly but it's what it is right now. You've said what you don't like about Barcelona and their approach to recruiting players, but that's basically how financially troubled teams try their best to stay competitive with their rivals. Taking advantage of free and quality players is a good way to save money, but many fans want Barcelona to do bigger things as if they don't have any problems financially.

Barcelona has been a team that has struggled in solving many of its problems. But they still have positive sides that you can mention instead of just negative ones you don't like. I'm annoyed to say La Liga is a farmers' league, that means I don't agree with your assumption. Even so, Barcelona is still the most dominant team in La Liga in the last 10 seasons, winning 5 titles. I agree that it would not really increase the risk if they change the coach. I mean how could it get worse? Manchester United finished 8th in the Premier League and I doubt they would finish below that with any coach in the world. Ten Hag got lucky that Manchester City messed up the FA Cup and he got lucky that Tuchel decided to terminate the talks and negotiations with Ratcliff. I am convinced if Tuchel said he wants the job in Manchester, Ratcliff would have sacked ten Hag and gone with Tuchel.

Lucky for them that they are playing Europa League. It would have been an awful boring season if they didn't play any of the European competitions.

I am looking forward to what their plans are in the transfer market and whether they become very active and ten Hag gets fulfilled some of his wishes. The money is there.
