The Ballon d'Or story is not over for Vinnie, he definitely wants to get it. Maybe if Vinnie gets it done, the Saudi offer, which is estimated at a billion, will turn into a billion and a half? I think there are thresholds for everyone and 200 million is a hell lot of money of course. But in contrast to Ronaldo, Vinicius Junior has so much to achieve as a player and he won't ever suffer from hunger  Ronaldo took it as a pension at the end of his career and I guess everyone would have done the same. I think even though Saudi Arabian clubs offer fantastic offers, top European players will not be easily tempted to move to Saudi Arabia because money can be found but experience and time do not come twice so Vinicius must make the most of his youth in the European League and get many awards so that his value will increase. I am sure Saudi Arabian clubs will not stop offering such things by continuing to increase value if the player continues to perform amazingly in the European League so it is very unfortunate if Vini prioritizes money over his career.

Even if Duran wanted to stay at Villa and fight for his place, Aston villa would have still pushed him out in order to get that money. A player like Duran for £77M and you expect Aston villa to reject. No club in euro will pay such an amount of Duran calibre of player. But at 21 and going to Saudi Arabia doesn't speak good about his career. He needed to have stayed in Europe and developed more. I would have opted him to go to the Saudi at the later stage of his career, rather than leaving for the Saudi at this early stage of his career. Maybe he doesn't care much about that, as his sights are just fixed on the money. It's actually painful to invest so much on a player that you can't utilize as a club, it's just like a wasted investment, so I believe that before this decision of terminating his contract was reached, the hierarchies of Al hilal has given it a proper thought, because it's not an easy decision to make, but I believe that it's a decision that best suit the interest of the club and the player.

Jhon Duran if we must be honest have been a better finisher for Aston Villa than Ollie Watkins this season but maybe because he's not an English man, he's not been able to cement his place as Aston Villa's first choice striker. I think his move away from the club isn't a bad one because he deserves to go to a club where he'll get the opportunity of discovering his full potentials.
That said, I don't also think it was a good decision for him to leave Europe and go to the Middle East at this time of his career but when you consider the financial benefits that comes with his move, I think it's worth it.
