We can’t blame Amorim for Rashford fall from grace, it is totally understandable that a player who has been contributing less to the team’s improvement and earning so much needs to be cut off because looking at Manchester United and comparing the current team to the old days, I will say the club has suffered so much in recent years and they need a change urgently even if it requires cutting down expenses and caryrying out an overhaul to eradicate dead woods to free up space for new recruitments. I have strong belief that more players will follow at the end of the season.

Apparently this forest should not end with one Rashford, and on the one hand Rashford played at a time when Manchester United was a good team and he was with them when difficult times came. Just saw this report few minutes ago that Chelsea and Portugal forward Joao Felix have reached agreement to skcnyfir AC Milan till the remainder of the season. Felix during his early days at Atletico Madrid was regarded as the future of European football but he's failed to live up to expectations and us now been loaned from one club to another. Last two seasons, he was loaned to Chelsea from Atletico and just last season, he spent it at Barcelona before Chelsea signed him on permanent basis last summer so what's the essence of loaning him out again? Well, I think this move to AC Milan will provide him more playing minutes which he can seize the opportunity to return back to his best again

A symbiotic-mutualism between Milan and Chelsea. Felix's transfer to the Milan was not surprising me, he lacks of minutes in Chelsea due to the tough competition with Palmer. He has to go to the serie a, which is a good move consider he's still young.

He can dig more experience to play at the top team of serie a. I also wonder whether there is a special relationship between Chelsea and Milan. Plenties of Chelsea players gone to Milan since a few years ago i.e Morata, Giroud, RLC, Pulisic and many more.

Morata has already left for Galatasaray, so apparently Milan are not satisfied with Morata's performance in this one and I don't think Joao Felix will do better than Morata. Conceicao is a very demanding coach and already several have left for other clubs on loan including Morata, Tomori and Calabria. So apparently Joao Felix had no other options to play on loan at a top club. Initially his transfer looked very strange, especially after his first loan spell in 2023, when Felix was not put in the squad by Chelsea's head coach at the time Frank Lampard.

Joao Felix could be an important player for the incomplete Milan squad. They added him to their squad on loan, but perhaps his performance until the end of the season will allow him to return to the Premier League. He had that chance at United, nobody was against him personally or something, dude could have played hard and gain his time. All he had to do was show himself playing hard in training if he did that then he would have been given time during the games as well. But instead, he didn't put himself fully committed to training, which made him not only fail to get time, but also fail to even stay at the team.

Why do people think that he will suddenly go to Villa and give his 100% when he didn't do that at United? I agree that for a first few weeks, or maybe even a month or two, he may show more than what he has shown at United, to "prove" that he is good, but then because his characteristic isn't a hard worker, he will stop caring and he will become bad. I guarantee you that last 3-4 weeks of the season, he will be a terrible player, and next season he will stay being a terrible player yet again. He will only be good for maximum of 2 months, probably less.

I think this is not a problem of training, but more of an attitude problem. As before, we know the situation happened when Ten Hag was still the head coach at Manchester United. Now it happened again under Amorim, Rashford is rumored to have problems with his new coach. However, the news tends to be packaged with problems during training. It could be like that, with the scenario that Rashford doesn't really like the program and system brought by Amorim. In the end, as we see now, Aston Villa is his current place. Let's just say that if Barcelona didn't have a problem, Flick would be happy to make him part of his team squad. Unfortunately, Barcelona has obstacles that cannot bring him to Camp Nou. With that fee Man Utd still doubt Mathys Tel's ability so this incident opened the way again for Tottenham to get him after their previous bid was rejected. Marcus Rashford is a bloody prat but I wish him all the best for real. Do you know how bad it means for your manager to come all out talking about your training performance and how you recover after football activities? Lol. Most of you on here just defend that fraud blindly,  he's been a professional for that past couple years and should know better about things. Hopefully he goes and smash it with Aston Villa.

I watched few United games under ETH, and I even ask, why is Rashford still on this team?.  I don't really like to talk bad or criticize players, but let's be honest, Rashford isn't doing much for United. I couldn't even believe it when I found out his salary. A player earning such amount should be challenging other players for the golden boot award.

Manchester City being an the most active team in winter transfer window compared to other premier league clubs and if i am not mistaken they bought at least 5 players total in this January and in the last minutes of transfer window finally they get Nico Gonzalez and i can see he is the last player who Manchester City bought

There are speculations that Marcus Rashford was targeted because of his high pay he receives. Since Manchester United started its cost cutting programs they have been forced to take some hard decisions. Even Rashford believes that Sir Jim Ratcliffe gave Rubem Amorin the task of forcing the English star to leave Old Trafford.

With his high wage still intact and Aston Villa's group stage success in the UEFA champions, Rashford had to grab the opportunity. And with the money Aston Villa made from the sale of Jhon Duran to Saudi Arabia, they would be able to pay their part of Rashford's salary.       

It's quite funny that although Aston Villa consistently rank above United and are in the Champions League this season, while United are in the Europa League, this move is a step down. And the fact that he is going to Aston Villa is proof that no top club is interested in him anymore (like PSG once was).
It will be interesting to see if he can prove himself there or if football has completely left him.

I feel the Manchester United board were clumsy About the Marcus Rashford situation, no matter how you try to look at things, there was a way they could come in to mend things between Amorim and Rashford, even before the young man left for Aston villa, Amorim didn't allow him play for a good number of games for a player that was still very feet and has potential, it wasn't looking like he had a better option in those games though, his direct disposition on Rashford was unprofessional as a coach and as a one time footballer, the whole drama for me was looking like he had a personal Vendetta against the youngster. If not for the way things where, I'm sure Rashford wouldn't have settled for an Aston villa.

Marcus Rashford has been playing for Manchester United for a long time and the player has contributed well in many matches for Manchester United at times even though the performance of this player has not been consistent. Perhaps the current manager is not interested in retaining this player because of his inconsistent performance. If this player leaves Manchester United and goes to another club, then Manchester United must replace him with a good quality player because this player was a regular striker for Manchester United. Manchester United will fail more than succeed if the manager tries to play with bench players instead of replacing them. That is why every transfer should be done according to the plan. If one player comes to the club as opposed to another good player, everyone will take it very well but if the performance is worse than good then the manager will face criticism.

Of course I don't expect Amorim to offload Marcus Rashford and not bring in a better replacement. As I said before, the difference between Man City and Madrid currently is that Madrid has players who can make things happen with their individual brilliance. Mbappe is a player that can make things happen out of nothing. Vinicius and Rodrygo are those types of players too. Even Bellingham is a player that can score half a chance when he gets the opportunity, other than that, there is no big difference between both teams. Madrid is at the top of La Liga because Barcelona has been too inconsistent lately, and Atelti are just finding their feet.
Madrid is a team that has zeal and they never give up, they are always ready to fight no matter what, but aside from that, their attack is what sets them apart from Manchester City, in my opinion.

Ancelotti will somehow find a solution to this. Ancelotti knows how to use the squad he has very well. Even though Manchester City is in a very bad period, they are always a threat with Guardiola. We cannot say that Real Madrid will definitely win the match because it will be difficult for both teams. I was hoping that Real Madrid would make a transfer to the defense, but they have been one of the quietest teams in this transfer period.
