Either way, Arsenal should fight to sign Viktor Gyokeres, one of the strikers they need to boost their trophy chances next season. As Fabrizio Roma has said, Viktor Gyokeres is definitely going to leave, despite the player hinting that he will stay with Sporting CP next season. His market value is around £65m, and I think Arsenal would not have too much trouble in paying his release clause.

£65 million is too much. His stats this season are more than impressive he has scored 39 goals in 33 matches for Sporting. He would definitely be a great addition to Arsenal and could help a lot, but the question is whether he would have a similar season as he did at Sporting. Either way, i still think £65 million is a lot.

Getting a player like Viktor Gyökeres for £65m is quite cheap, especially in time like this when the transfer market has been highly inflated. I was hoping that Sporting Lisbon were going to slap a £100m plus price tag on the player, but the price I am seeing is okay. There is only one way for us to find out if he can replicate his goal scoring form he had in Sporting Lisbon, is if he move to other league. I remember when Manchester city bought Erling Haaland, there were same similar doubts about him replicating his goal scoring form in the premier league, he came and won the golden boot for two straight seasons.

The only thing that will hinder Viktor Gyökeres from scoring goals is if he move to a team that is poorly managed. If he make the mistake of going to a club like Manchester United he is finished. He should go to a team that have the passion to win something and he will flourish.

£65m release clause is not bad for Viktor Gyökeres regardless that he is a major figure in Sporting Lisbon though if he was to play for one of the big teams in La Liga, Bundesliga and the Premier League, his price tag would have been higher but however, it's not really about how expensive a player is that matters, if a club signs him can he maintain same performance as he did for Sporting Lisbon? that is the question and what should be after because if he perform the way he did for Sporting Lisbon, his market value will increase in his new club when he wants to sign for another club. I like when a player who is performing awesomely well, moves out to other clubs to test his skills and improve more rather than being stuck in a particular club for so long.

I wonder what the terms of the transfer are in terms of timing. For example, Bournemouth let Huysen go and he will be able to take part in the Club World Cup this summer. I'm not sure Liverpool and Benfica will be as kind, especially Liverpool  Grin
As a Real Madrid fan I am happy with the club's activity, this is what I call an adequate response to the problems that have arisen. It seems Perez wants to win the World Cup plus strengthen the team for next season.

I think almost all the players they sign now will definitely join them before the club register for club World Cup because after the season ends I think the transfer market will start off two weeks later and any player can be registered, Huijsen will definitely be able to get his hands on the trophy as for Alexander Arnold he will also be ready because I don’t think his contract runs to July with Liverpool and once it officially ends he can sign that of Real Madrid just already and be also ready for the tournament. Also for Alvaro, if Real Madrid actually gets the deal done early it wouldn’t also stop him too.

This immediate transfer swing by Perez already signifies how furious he is with the club poor performance last season and he wants immediate reinforcements and getting their hands on this new edition of the club World Cup will be great and good start for the club to next season

Conte looks happy at Napoli, and he seems to be getting what he needs. Dude has so much power that he wanted to oust Osimhen, and he did, he literally sent Osimhen on loan. He is so powerful there right now that, the dude that got 100 million euro offer, ended up being the guy who is sent on loan just because Conte didn't want him on the team.

When he has that much power that would mean he is going to get a greater income. If they could get a greater result then it would make sense, because why leave a club when he could do a great job that way. It should be doing a great job, if they can do whatever they want, then he is going to stay. Management basically leaves him to do whatever they want and that is the key here.

65 million still too expensive for a striker who only played in Lisbon. He's scored a lot, but it was in the portuguese competition. We have seen so many strikers were beast at the mid tier league, but did nothing after they stepped up into the top tier league.
Definitely buying him for 65 million is such a gamble. He can be good or bad. If he can suit his new club well, that's good. However, if he does opposite thing, 65 million is totally wasted.

His buyer must be thinking for twice before try to bet on him.

Bayern Munich are like they are trying to rob Leverkusen of all their players.  Tongue  I know Tah is available for free but you know they are after Wirtz as well.

Anyways, honestly I think Tah is a great opportunity for big teams. For Bayern Munich too. Kim Min-jae is injured and his return date is unknown.

Tah is an experienced CB. He can be very useful. I wouldn't say no to watching him at Barcelona either.

Deal Done! Alvaro Carrera will become Madrid's new LB. They will pay 50m RC for his service. I bet many may be feel very unfamiliar about him, but he's good LB. I remember he did it well against Barcelona in UCL, and happy with Madrid's transfer is moving swifly without even involving so much drama.

They spent 100 millions for two good defenders, which is amazing. They finally aware about what things they must solve it as soon as possible. Expect Alvaro's announcement to come very soon.

Also waiting for Trent's announcement to come after him.  Grin Grin Grin Grin
I think Alonso is here for the job, he don’t like managing players, he wanted all positions to have players that played the position naturally not to improvise or convert players to play in that position just as Ancelotti was using David Alaba to play in the left wing and also using some midfielders to play defensively instead of signing defenders during the January transfer window, and that act affected Real Madrid because their defensive errors couldn’t allow the attackers to have rest of mind even if they are winning their match.

Now that Real Madrid is considering to sign defenders, they will be a complete team next season, they will be very tough and might go for winning trebles. I can see they are also considering signing midfielders to replace the Toni Kroos that left because only Jude Bellingham cannot do the work alone in Real Madrid’s midfield.

It's not a lot for a player with such quality, you can count top ten strikers across Europe without finding Gyokores in first five or six so how is that amount too much, for someone who scored more than 30 goals in a season, I believe some players didn't even come close to that but they'll be worth more than him and you claim it's too much why? because he's playing for Sporting Lisbon?.

Even Declan Rice stats didn't come close to Gyokores but he was bought for a very heavy amount than this to Arsenal, I could mention several other players too in Chelsea, and Liverpool that doesn't come close to his stats but worth more than that, any club that finally signs him should be lucky they got him for that figure.
English players are overvalued. Rice, Grealish, Sancho, Ben White, all commanded high fees that they weren't worth. Just so you know, the 39 goals is exclusively for the league. Viktor Gyokeres has scored 53 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions this season, and €65 million is quite a bargain for a player of his quality. He's indeed a goal machine, he's 26 years old and possesses every attribute of a quality striker. At that price, any team that signs him will be getting a great deal.

Tah is an experienced CB. He can be very useful. I wouldn't say no to watching him at Barcelona either.

Bayern Munich is the favorite to sign Tah and Bayern Munich is the one who is the top to sign him, Bayern Munich wants to make a good signing this season so that they can compete in every competition and I believe the signing is going to work for them, signing Tah and Wirtz will be a good signing and it will help the performance because Bayern Munich has not been a strong team we know before but with the new signings the team will bounce back to the best level.

Bayern Munich is doing everything to sign Wirtz because he is a top player that many teams want to sign him most especially in the Premier League, Liverpool and Chelsea are serious about signing him and from the look of things Leverkusen doesn't want to sell him to their rivals with a small amount that is why the deal is still delaying, this is another opportunity for a team like Real Madrid that needs a midfielder to sign Wirtz since Xabi Alonso will be Real Madrid coach next season Wirtz will be happy to work with his former manager.

Day after day more rumors rising.
Antonio Conte will be probably the coach of Juventus again next year.

If he ends winning the league with Napoli it will be even more probable.

What do you think?
This more like a fairy tale instead of a rumor. If Conte wins another serie a with Napoli, he will not even leave from there. How dare Juventus still hopes him to come when they didn't care when he's jobless? They get plenty of times to signed him as a new coach, but always proceed to sign the amateur coach such as Motta and Igor.

This fairy tale will not happen unless Conte fails to win scudetto, and he gets sacked by Napoli. Even if he fails, he doesn't seem to be sacked by his club.
Well, Conte getting paid more, and managing a "bigger" team could be something they could get a better one. Think about it, we are talking about a situation where Juventus historically is a more successful team, in fact most successful one is very important offer. That is the most important offer, being at the head of Juventus is a big deal.

If you can do that then you are going to get a greater success if you could takeover Juventus and then learn what it is means to make them champions again. If you could do that, then it would make a lot of sense, and that should be the most greatest thing for him. Think about it, Juventus hasn't done that great, for a while now, since their last championship, so if he gets a title with them, it would be huge.

It's about the job, it's pretty norm for a coach to have access to new players during the transfer market, it wouldn't make sense after getting the spot light and you don't even have the money to buy new players, that's going to be like given someone money start a business to brings in weekly profits and you didn't provide him with the right things to be a successful person in the business, you will get the same thing over and over or even lose everything.

My only concern is what happen after the first season because Real Madrid is a stressful team. How can you allow your club to be fighting to stabilized their defense that's what affected them to the point they couldn't win any league and they wanted to be the best. It's good that Anceloti left early, people wouldn't have him to blame for any misfortune that comes to Real Madrid. If Xabi is successful, Anceloti will be praised and if he lose, Xabi and the buys will cry.

You are looking at things at one angle. Cunha is a fantastic player as well as a problematic one at that since he cant control his anger issues. Still, he is not the only player with similar issues and that shouldn't be enough reason for Manchester United not to sign him.

In the 2024 season that will soon come to an end, Matheus Cunha has played 33 matches for Wolves, scoring 17 goals which no single striker currently in Manchester United have more than 8 goals. If being problematic is a problem then you should speak about Bruno Fernadez who has the most red card in the EPL this season.
Ruben Amorim have been making plans to explore, we know he's capable of bringing out the very best in the club. There have been quite alot of motives from these players, exercising their desire to make proper stands to win major titles. Manchester United making good moves to bring Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford at the end of the season. This is good news for the ears of Manchester United fans, this news sounds like purely sweet melody.

Matheus Cunha have some negative aggressive features as a player, we know he doesn't relent and always take actions towards his oppositions on the pitch. We should keep all that part aside, Matheus Cunha have been really straight in banging good goals for his club, he's also consider to be the frontrunner for the club. He's been one of the most complete player in Wolves.

£65 million is not too much for a striker like Viktor Gyokeres because dude is so good compared to some players in the top 3 European leagues. Viktor Gyokeres scores in almost all Sporting Lisbon matches which is a very good potentials of a striker. If Arsenal signs Viktor Gyokeres, they will succeed because they will be sure that they have a striker who they can rely on just that he might find it somehow difficult in the early stages of the season but when he fully adapts to the team's style of play, he will do wonders. Just like Mbappe found it difficult to score goals when he newly joined Real Madrid, same thing can happen to Viktor Gyokeres but i believe he will fit in so well in the Arsenal squad. Don't sound like £65 million is too much for the striker, he worth it and even more.

Spending has never been a problem for Madrid, they know what they want and they go for it, and when Madrid comes knocking only a handful of people can say NO, there was a rumour they were coming for Bukayo Saka ( who would make a great addition to the team).
They are looking to rebuild and reform the structure of the team, so they’re buying players to bolster weak positions. Arrival of Trent who has been booed by the Liverpool fans is also a good buy that his position is lacking since the injury of Dani Carvajal (one of the best right backs in modern football).

They have played well in some seasons, but now yes, I agree - they are massively overrated as players in terms of their value, but it's a matter of time. A season or two will pass and the same Grealish will no longer be worth 35 million but half the price, assuming he plays the same in the following seasons, that is without improvement. It all depends on their current form, prices aren't taken from the ceiling after all

It is a risk that management must take when changing coaches. If previously 100 million euros had been offered, but Napoli held Osimhen because of his performance, that would be normal. However, because his style may not be considered suitable for Conte, he was forced to be loaned. For players who are considered unsuitable, no matter how good they are, all of this is a risk in the coach's strategy.

I think his salary is also the reason why Napoli want him to leave, before moving Osimhen made an agreement and asked for a higher salary and Napoli agreed because Osimhen brought Napoli the championship at that time but somehow Osimhen's performance declined in the following season so that he is considered a financial burden well, the arrival of a new coach completes Napoli's desire to release him. I think Napoli should let him go permanently so they can get fresh funds and looking for new players.

For players who are considered unsuitable, no matter how good they are, all of this is a risk in the coach's strategy.
Conte has always been viewed favorably in Serie A because some of us may realize that in the end Conte has always been someone who is valued for his experience and achievements so that when there is a decision that is considered controversial and brave like loaning Osimhen, the club will not flinch and interrupt his decision especially in the last few seasons the relationship between Napoli and Osimhen has not gone well.

Now talking about Osimhen he will definitely be released by Napoli no matter what but what is interesting is about Conte who is currently rumored to be leaving as well.
Whether in the end after regaining glory for Napoli as well as fresh money from the sale of Osimhen in the end Conte will leave it because of rumors now Conte is rumored to be going to Juventus.
But it can be realized that for Conte too he is not a coach who always stays for a long time for a club so maybe this will be understood even though it will spark a spark if in the end Conte really goes to Juventus.

At the moment, it seems that Perez wants to use their money in the direction of overall improvement, especially for the defense after 2 seasons they did not really do that.
This means that if the deal goes through, 3 defenders have joined the squad and now it's just a matter of waiting to see what will happen to Madrid's midfield as they still need a creative midfielder to support the pace of some of the players there.

Names such as Exequiel Palacios, Angelo Stiller and even the slightly overlooked Nico Paz who did well at Como are still being linked to Madrid for their midfield.
But I think Angelo Stiller is indeed worthy enough to be prioritized for now especially with the statement that it seems like Angelo Stiller has a desire to be in Madrid so this could be a good signal if indeed Madrid wants him in their squad next season.

£65M sounds fair to me, but I heard that there is a little problem with the choice of a striker. From what I heard, Arteta wants Sesko, while the sporting director wants Gyokeres. I think this might actually delay their second signing, which is actually a striker. And according to Fabrizio, both Sesko and Gyokeres are said to leave their clubs at the end of the season. Arteta still values a in and out striker, so I guess that's why he might prefer Sesko to Gyokeres who happens to be to be a proven striker, but a box to box type. Maybe signing both will be a good deal imo. Having a top striker and a second striker is not bad if you ask me.

Xavi Simons is ready to leave... Then what is going to be his next team you think?  Huh

Other than Bayern Munich I mean. I understand their interest in a new AM. Musiala is suffering a serious injury and his return is unknown. Even when he returns they don't have another reliable player in his position too.

They are targeting to sign him or Wirtz this summer. Simons would be much cheaper. He is also a great talent so I don't think they should spend probably double the money for Wirtz.
Xavi Simons was linked with couple of clubs the previous summer but not failed to materialize and he stayed back but since he is said to want to leave at the end of this season Liverpool, Bayern Munich and even Arsenal seem to be interested in his signature, we will see which club will show serious interest in the player as the transfer window opens.
