I understand your point mate, Ajax is not as big as Manchester United which might the reason why he could succeed in Ajax and couldn't in United. Some coaches cannot face the pressure when coaching a big club because they will be worried and confused due to critics from the fans. Those coach are known as average coaches. A professional coach will succeed in a big club despite whatever challenges that they are passing through. Look at Xabi Alonso who brought Leverkusen out from the darkness.

I think it is not about how big or small a club is, AJAX works in a completely different way, they have a very big and very good youth academy. They have always developed a lot of talented players and Ten Hag had access to them without transfer costs. And the Dutch league is not that competitive so it was definitely easier for him there.

At Manchester things were different but on the other hand he had a very good transfer budget and at Manchester United he tried to do the same thing as at AJAX. From the sources I read, Wirtz has a greater desire to join Liverpool. Maybe it was already the best signal for Liverpool and signed the contract immediately. And initially I would not agree if Wirtz would join Madrid. It would be too much of a strain on the squad with few professional players and the selfishness of fellow players could destroy the team's performance. We can see Mbappe's arrival didn't have a positive impact at the start of the season he joined. And I really hope Madrid don't make that mistake again.

Mbappe has a problem with Vinicius because they both played in the same position and they both aren't pure strikers. Wirtz can play many positions, it will not hurt the current squad because Real Madrid have more players to play in midfielders.

The problem might be just the current players won't get time to play as much as before, but that's a healthy competition right?

Let's see if a club like Leverkusen can still be a competitor to Bayern Munich after Leverkusen is in the hands of Erik Ten Hag. No one knows for sure until everything is proven, and I will not praise Erik Ten Hag too much for a career that he has not been able to prove at Leverkusen. The Bundesliga is a different story and, but I am quite happy that he is back as a coach and gets a famous club.

This would be the biggest test of Erik Ten Hags life. He was ok at Ajax, everyone liked him and saw him as decent, but when he went to United he was bad. Now that he is at Leverkusen, it is going to be questioned "was united bad because of ETH, or was ETH looking bad because of United?". If he does great at Leverkusen and be competitive again, even if he doesn't win but finish second, then it is going to mean he is doing great, and he didn't suck at United but United just sucks.

But if he does terrible, be outside of top four, then it would mean he will get fired yet again, and then he will have hard time finding any job at all. That is not going to be easy for him, he wouldn't really consider that as a bad thing, he may never manage a good team again.

It would be great if Conte stays with Napoli. Aurelio De Laurentiis seems to realize that Conte is the right coach for Napoli, and he might regret it if he lets Conte go. Salaries have been increased, and there is a possibility that Napoli will prioritize Kevin De Bruyne, but if Aurelio De Laurentiis really wants Conte to stay, then he must give Conte the freedom to buy/sell players according to his wishes. The only issue I had against him was his transfer strategy which he didn't get right and it cost him his job at the club. I think he would have been a good coach for Manchester United if he made better transfer choices or tried to work with the current squad.

I think it's the amount of money that Bayer Leverkusen is demanding that's even scaring some teams away, if not their would have been more clubs chasing after this young Man. With Real Madrid now in the picture, it might be difficult for Liverpool to sign this Wirtz. Erik Ten Hag was a good manager before coming to Man United but after coaching Man United many doubted his ability as a manager. We forget that actually his failure at Man United was not entirely because of him, we can see how many managers who coached Man United have the same fate as Erik Ten Hag even though the manager previously had a good history at his previous club, now just look at Amorim he is currently under great pressure with Man United after failing to improve Man United's performance.

Ten Hag did not succeed at Man United because the club is rotten. How many managers have Manchester United hired since 2013, and how many have done well? In that time, the only manager you can make a case for is Mourinho, and that is because he won the Europa League, but if you want to look at it properly, even though he did not succeed at Manchester United, will you call him an average coach?

Is that really the case?, I don't think so.
There are two clubs in the premier league that has really being unlucky with managers, and that is Manchester united and Chelsea. How many managers did Chelsea change before finally settling for Maresca?. How many Managers did Manchester united changed before settling for Ten hag(during his time) ?. Ten hag was bad at Manchester united, but I don't think the same thing will happen at Leverkusen. If he wasn't doing well at Ajax, Manchester united wouldn't have brought him in. If Amorim was doing well at Sporting, United wouldn't have brought him in as well.

Bayern Leverkusen Is another club entirely, and bundesliga is another separate league entirely. I don't see him failing at the club. He has a point to prove just as other ex Manchester united players were able to prove after leaving the club. I wish him all the best.

As far as I know, Barcelona has extended the contract of this young Spanish footballer until 2031, which means that Lamine Yamal will serve Barcelona for a long time.
