I think this might be issues from the board itself, even past manager like Allegri couldn't turn things around for them, who did pretty well before.

I think one reason for their drop is the quality of players they have and the fact that other teams in the Serie A are growing improving their squad makes it more difficult for them to dominate like before when they were having more reputable names as club players.  We saw Napoli fighting hard to keep Conte and one of the negotiations the board are giving him aside high pay is the fact that they are going to fund him in order to get top players to the club.

They were just waiting for season to end for Alexander-Arnold to do a crossover to real Madrid, actually in as much as the money is big but considering the player in question is a good deal for the team real Madrid, this was a perfect moment for Alexander-Arnold because the league that took long for them to win wasn't done on his absence but he was right there at every inch of the league till he witnessed there trophy, even if I might want him more in Liverpool but real Madrid is another champion club that will use his talent very well as Liverpool does, so till we see him on the Club World Cup games.

I suppose Simone Inzaghi to stay longer in Inter milan no matter how big the offer will come from Al Hilal. I don't rule how that saudis club can overpay him, but coaching european club is still on his priority now.

He's never ever thinking to leave. He has built a very good project at Inter Milan, and it will be truly disappointed me if he leaves. There's no door available for him to leave.
