Their finances were really bad earlier. But after the recent season I have heard that they have made a great profit. This must make things easier for them to afford Williams. There is already agreement with the player by the way. 6-year deal is on the table. Now they are just hoping to finish the deal with his team too. Great news for Barcelona and I think this is one of Hansi Flick's efforts to strengthen Barcelona and I understand how the deal is highly anticipated because Nico Williams is very suitable to work with Yamal. Seeing the deal I am convinced that Barcelona is really serious about developing the team to regain its glory days in this financial condition but Barcelona is always looking for the best solution. Barcelona is struggling with serious financial problems, and expensive transfers in the past have made this situation worse. Williams will look great on the left wing in Barcelona. This is good news for Barcelona. In other words, it is very good that the club came to almost bankruptcy in 2022 due to financial difficulties and still has such a squad and can still make good transfers. They are increasing the risk in order to get more return on their investments, the aim is to create the best team and add the perfect to the current squad.

I'm beginning to be scared of Liverpool truly. As a Manchester fan I will do all I came to ensure that Liverpool fairs to get whoever they to. They get the signature of ikedei and certain players done and accepted I'm sure he'll come to his next season. Liverpool has not well but it's dropp. They're a good definition I wat to see them winning the league competition. Back to back is something they're done boring.
I'm seeing only Manchester City and Liverpool making good signings, they're showing every sign of seriousness and determination to win games. Liverpool, who's not frighten when they see the club making bold moves in the transfer window. They're bringing in important players that are filled with hunger to play good football. We're not talking about average players but top level players, accompany with outstanding qualities to spell out good performance. Liverpool have been diving into making sure they're in good shape. Arne Slot did had something to lose in his first season but he summoned courage and had his side flogging oppositions without mercy. The Reds will become more competitive next season because Arne Slot have brought in his desirable players, just get ready for the big game. No question, signing Wirtz is Liverpool showing serious intent to build on their success, not just add another name to the squad. The club is betting on pure mentality and technical advantage. Slot whole approach is about emotional stability and maintaining the chemistry of the squad. That is why he is making more tweaks than surgery. It is a clever way to say that we have all witnessed teams collapse when they pile on the "big signings" and forget about the locker room dynamic (looking at you, Chelsea, every time). Do not underestimate what is going on at City. The atmosphere is different, nearly desperate following a trophyless season. Guardiola is anxious, something that has not been seen in a long time. The De Bruyne exit is a wound, and you can feel the uncertainty in each step. Eight new signings, lots of cash, but will they stick together when Pep is threatening to quit unless the squad is too large? With so much turnover at City, they are either creating the next great team or the serious problems. In any case, anticipate a very competitive Liverpool vs. City season, and the mental edge could make all the difference.

Gyökeres is a quality player. Of course, Sporting Lisbon wants him to be transferred for a very high transfer fee right now. Because other Portuguese teams like Sporting Lisbon are constantly moving in cycles to sell players and to add better and younger players to the team. Real Madrid rejected him because he did not suit their style of play, but on paper he looks like a goal machine. Maybe he will be transferred to a Premier League team, but I think they will ask for a very high transfer fee for a 27-year-old.
Rejecting does not mean that the player does not have quality, but Xabi Alonso sees Gyökeres as not fitting into the game plan he implements in the team. Now Arsenal are the frontrunners to get the player's signature because they have submitted an offer in the range of €65-70 million. The problem is that Gyökeres still has a contract left with Sporting so Arsenal will have to pay a fairly high release clause if they want to recruit him. Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Gyökeres but so far there is no clarity regarding his future.

Buying Gyokeres from Sporting can be considered as a gamble. He has £85m, 27 years old and played in portuguese league. No doubt the big clubs may be going to the striker that's cheaper than him. He must be patience enough waiting a club that is willing to gamble £85m for unproven striker like him. It's a very risky bet for sure. The better he ask his team directly regarding his release clause. I think no club is keen on spending so much money just for 27 years old striker.
Even Arsenal goes to the Sesko instead of him.
it will be painful if he gets no new club at the end of window transfer.
To be fair, asking price is way way too much, 85 million isn't what he is worth and to be fair there are very very few people who ended up being worth that much to be fair, so it is not really a big deal. What we are seeing at this moment is how things are changing for them and Sporting will end up with a big change. What we are seeing here is Sporting making a huge mistake. Because he has a contract and it will eventually end. So he will waste his years to make Sporting happy, but when that thing changes, we are going to see how he is going to be old by the time contract ends but he will be still at a better than Sporting team, hell if nothing else he could go to Saudi and make some money. For that reason Sporting will make no money if they do not sell him for something normal. He should be 50 million or so. I do agree with you. 85 million is too much for Gyokeres. However, this is what his team wanted. From Gyokeres's side, he looks so desperate with how his team promised to sell him 60 million, but increased it to the 85 million that not a lot of big clubs can afford. His transfer saga is just getting even more complicated how harsh his team wanna sell him for 85 million.

I'm not following it closely, but some people argued that this complicated matter happened because his agent is not good at handling communications and deals. Is that true? If the club won't drop its price and he's frustrated because of that, would that affect his relationship with the club and his output? Sounds like a risky move unless Sporting is confident that they can sell him for that amount of money. Then again, I remember Eketike is valued at 100 million by his club, too, even though his output isn't that massive compared to other strikers. CMIIW.

People rarely talked about Como, while they have something to cook soon. They will provide 100 million fund for Fabregas to sign the new players in order to qualify for the europe next season. I believe this club is gonna cook in the future. They have been starting from nothing to something. I know 100m is not a lot these days, but not when it comes to the italian football. It's very interesting to see what names Fabregas to sign in this summer window. I believe Como will be big someday. Just hand Fabregas the more money, he will help them to cook. They have signed Baturina, and more names to come.

This would actually be massive for como if they really have such huge amount of money to spend because am still in doubt that como have such amount of money to spend mainly on transfer alone, but that's by the way, wiith the ability of cesc fabrigas as a coach, I believe that if he spends that much, he can take them to Europe only if he prioritize quality over quantity. Additionally, this €100M seems huge but it can only acquire like three top quality players base on how expensive top quality players are now, so if he goes for top quality decisive player, there's no way they can't qualify for Europe, as long as cesc fabrigas is still the manager of Como.

All of european big clubs who have been linked to the Gyokeres are so reluctant in buying him. It's all due to the his non sense asking price combined with his wages. Even no official bid came to him. Unless he will able to reduce his salary, and ask his current club to reduce his clause. He may not be leaving from Sporting in summer.
Sporting seems to kill Gyokeres' career to develop, they set a very high price that is not commensurate with Gyokeres' quality so it is natural that no team is interested in bringing in Gyokeres. Actually there is no proof that Gyokeres because he did not play at the highest level of European competition even though he is 27 years old which is considered the peak of a football player's career but Sporting should have set a reasonable price to be negotiable. Buying Gyokeres from Sporting can be considered as a gamble. He has £85m, 27 years old and played in portuguese league. No doubt the big clubs may be going to the striker that's cheaper than him. Even Arsenal goes to the Sesko instead of him. it will be painful if he gets no new club at the end of window transfer. Gyokeres scored freakishly in Portugal, but we and our grandmas know that those stats drop instantly the moment you enter the Premier League. We’re not talking a minor dip. In the past, it is a complete nosedive: guys like Darwin Nunez and Slimani have their goals-per-game halve or worse when they left Primeira Liga. Arsenal would be spending Haaland-money for a guy likely to deliver… what, 18 goals at the most in his first season? He is 27 years old and he has no time to adjust or get sold to make a profit. It’s now or never and clubs don’t throw £85m on a now-or-never gamble unless they’re desperate The most annoying thing to him is the circus of his release clause and agent drama. His camp is playing in a messy public game to get every last euro, but that only scares off clubs that already hate overpaying. Then, should he remain at Sporting through all this, good luck keeping his head straight. History tells us that when a transfer is too slow and public, clubs begin to lose interest and won’t pay as much for that player. Sometimes being too “available” is the worst look you can have

Source: https://football-italia.net/fiorentina-seek-agreement-for-italy-u21-star/Jay Idzes has been the talk of the transfer market because Venezia was relegated and it is likely that a Serie A team could get him and also in terms of market value Jay Idzes is still quite cheap with his age of only 25 years he has quite a lot of potential in the future. Bologna and Fiorentina both want Jay Idzes, the defender is now just waiting to wear a new uniform next season and I think from some media it is said that Fiorentina are in serious talks and that is likely to happen.

Actually this is not a problem because every year if we refer to the transfer window we must be aware that Arsenal is one of the clubs that is loyal in bringing in players even for prices that are not even too reasonable in purchases but they always give what Arteta wants.
It's just that in terms of results this is clearly a little less comfortable even though their performance in the last few seasons has always been maintained and is still a runner-up specialist but this should not be commensurate with what they have spent in terms of finances. At this time of course at least Arteta must have a better attitude in this matter when he wants better players then there must be a difference between the season that will be run and the season he has done so that his progress does not look stagnant and we know that until now even though their performance is good but this is still said to be stagnant because there is still no trophy that he has managed to give to Arsenal.
The performance has been maintained and I think that is the biggest problem they have. When they brought in new players, the goal was to add those missing few extra percentage points to make the team better and finally go for the title, but I think the transfers were subpar for that goal to be achieved. They need a striker of the calibre like Mbappe or Haaland. Midfield is pretty strong with Declan Rice and Odegaard and wing players are good especially with Saka. Still here and there I often feel a few details are missing to finally be able to make it to the top. By looking at the situation that has happened to Arsenal in the last few seasons I think the problem is in terms of their mentality. We can see that for now their coach is actually still quite capable, the players are also still above average quality although there are still some things that need to be improved but for Arsenal at this time they are quite complex and able to provide more. But when their mentality remains the same then in the end the same situation every year will not be inevitable even though their performance is very good at the beginning of the season but slowly they collapse and we have seen this for Arsenal several times in the last few seasons where those who were even dominant and successful in securing the beginning and middle of the season were destroyed and could not do anything to maintain their dominance at the end of the season.

According to PicadoTv, Paulo Dybala has refused a large offer from Al-Hilal to play only in the Club World Cup. This seems ridiculous to me, really ridiculous. These Arab clubs think they can buy everything and everyone, but they are wrong
Saudi has money as the only thing to attract EU players. So they used it as their main weapon to lure professional footballer to come to their league. However, happy how Dybala plays football not because the monetary reason. He seems wanna retire in european club, and have no willingness to go to the Saudi. As a fan of a team who is not that rich, and not one of the bigger clubs of Europe, this is finally European clubs understanding how it feels when they buy our players for a lot of money. I am not a Dortmund fan, but lets assume I am, how is it different when United, or Real, or anyone else get my player because they are richer, or PSG spending a ton to get many players than Saudis do it? You think PSG would be a destination of all these players, if they didn't offer this much money? Of course not, they wouldn't be, so there are plenty of big teams, including most recent UCL winner, that got better thanks to spending a ton of money. Saudis are not doing anything different, if a player doesn't want to go because of the culture, then I understand, but if it is money, then European teams offer money too.

There you have it, you gave the answer yourself in your post. The players they have are above average quality. I agree that they are and above average quality is never enough to win the Premier League. You can't just play with above average and hope everyone else plays average. Liverpool plays highest quality, Manchester City usually does, many other teams have the quality to do it at least sometimes. Arsenal needs more top quality players.

Liverpool has't stopped yet. They're trying to hunt more talent to be recruited. They have done with Frimpong, Wirtz (medical check up), Kerkez, (still in the negotiation), and add Isaak as their last target. Their target to sign Isaak from Newcastle is just getting even more possible with Nunez who is still in the process to go to the Napoli(i expect him to play for that italian club). I think we will see Isaak to wear Liverpool's jersey as he has open the move to the any big club that play in UCL. It would be great for Nunez to join Napoli, it would even remind us a bit of his fellow countryman Edinson Cavani. Isak is an excellent player who i believe would fit in really well with Liverpool's squad, and i think he could be a serious reinforcement especially since, as you mentioned, he's open to joining a bigger club that plays in the champions league. As for Kerkez, i think that deal is pretty much done, at least based on what i've read. But let's wait and see what might still happen with that transfer. About Nunez I can't why he could not perform really well but leaving Liverpool to Napoli is good at least he can be a regular starter and he can as well be better than we saw at Liverpool. I believe Isak can fit in any team in the EPL and his form since he joined Newcastle has been awesome and you can agree with me that he is one of the best attackers last season. He is not as macho as some attackers are but he can pass through every defender. In my opinion I would not like Newcastle to be useless next season for letting one of their best go, so who's going to be his replacement for next season? For me is bad and I know their attacking force will never be the same if Isak leaves. Definitely, if Nunez moves to Napoli, he has something to prove. Let’s not kid ourselves the premier league demands more than the Italian league. I do follow serie a and it’s a strong league, but the premier league is still the best in the world. In general, Nunez is not always consistent his performances fluctuate, sometimes he's good, sometimes not. Maybe Liverpool is just too big of a challenge for him right now. If he joins Napoli, he and Lukaku could form an ideal attacking duo.As for Isak he’s a top class striker. He knows how to read the game and has a great sense for goal. It’ll be tough for Newcastle to find another striker as good as him. Liverpool is doing a great job preparing for next season, and i believe they’ll be the main favorites to win both the league and the Champions League.

Applause to the Liverpool. They do attract some new players like without any efforts. They started with Frimpong, then Wirtz and now Kerkez. Kerkez is the right answer for their LB position as Robertson's performance that is stalled. 21 years, played in tier 1 (PL proven), and one of best LB in PL. I feel something different with FSG because they showed signals they're really going all in for the next season. How many signing FSG wanted in this summer window? I can only say that's amazing.

Barcelona is the bravest team in investing in expensive players. They always do not hesitate to target the quality players needed by the team even though their financial condition is not yet stable and even some time ago they were still in a bad condition financially. But I'm pretty sure they're fixing it little by little. So they can always make good transfers in every player transfer market every season. Nico Williams is one of the players that Barcelona really needs, in fact this player has been a target since last season. So it is very natural that Barcelona continues to fight hard to get him. And if it is true that there has been a personal cooperation agreement with the player, namely Nico Williams, then that is very good news. Now just waiting for other more convincing good news.

If Nico Williams officially becomes a Barcelona player because he is considered the most desirable, then the process of moving Nico Williams will remind me of the process of moving Fabregas from Arsenal in 2011. At that time Fabregas was put on the Barcelona jersey when Cesc was strengthening the Spanish national team. Because it is considered very suitable with Xavi and Iniesta even though Fabregas finally returned to London but not to Arsenal but to Chelsea. If Nico Williams goes to Barcelona, who will be marginalized between Raphinha and Olmo.

I have looked into some reliable sources but couldn't see an update like Liverpool is interested. But if they are then they will need to pay a sum similar to the one they paid for Wirtz most probably. Even if they have the money for it, I don't know whether it can be allowed. How much do FFP rules let teams spend? Or should I say how much should the profit/loss balance be for teams? His current market value is 120 million euros. I don't think Newcastle would let him go for less...

Alexander Isak will be a serious threat to the opponent's defense, and I don't think it will be long before he gels with Liverpool because he hasn't been in the Premier League for quite some time, and with Liverpool, he will be even more pampered. Now we just have to wait and see whether Liverpool will really chase Isak or if they still have other options. If Darwin Nunez is actually sold, then Liverpool will definitely be looking for a new striker.

Barcelona won the domestic treble last season and of course this has given them some advantages. They may not have managed to get out of bankruptcy but at least they have the money to bring in Williams this season. Yes Barcelona still have critical financial problems but at least their situation this season is a little better. If Williams joins Barcelona it will make El Classico very interesting next season. Madrid have managed to fix the shortcomings in their defense and Barca have managed to strengthen their front line. I hope the transfer can be realized and wait for Fabrizio to say "here we go" on his social media.
